I've got an HTC One (M8), you have questions. Fire away.

Phil: given that HTC appears to be using the exact same camera module as the Old One, which was plagued with auto focus and purple tint problems, in your meetings with HTC did this issue come up? How as consumers can we be certain the problem has been corrected? 2 of my 3 Ones suffer from one or both of these defects.

Please make a video going through the settings.

Can you change the style of the fonts?

How does the Google play edition handle the duo cameras and dot case?

Dunno yet. It definitely will utilize Duo Camera. Maybe the case, too —remember that the GS4 GPe did that.

I've seen a video of the phone sitting in water for something crazy like 2 hours - are you worried about getting moisture in the phone? I'm not sure the video is authentic or whatnot."

I wouldn't recommend submerging a phone that's not rated for waterproofing. That's just dumb.

It's not the exact same camera module. It's a new camera module, as I noted in our review.

No split-screen multitasking features like Galaxy phones? That appears to be the only thing missing from this phone . I would love to have a youtube video playing while I'm checking my email.

Does the SIM card come with the HTC one m8 . I got my phone from Sprint and I read you had to call them to get a nano SIM before the phone would work is this true .

It's not the same camera module. Same on paper, but a different (and better) sensor.

Hey Phil, Does the GPe work with the dot case?
Dunno. But Samsung's S View case works with the GPe GS4, so chances are they'll have something baked into the ROM so it works.

Just because one person got lucky, doesn't mean you should start treating your M8 as if it's waterproof.

Yep.

Yes, you need a nano SIM.

How does it feel in the hand? Solid, slippery? I've got an S4 and that's about the worst thing to hold without a case ever. Feel like I'm going to drop it all the time. Long term, would you put some kind of case on it for grip purposes?

If you're close enough, sure. There's a text mode in the camera, too.
