I've got an HTC One X, you have questions ... FIRE AWAY!

I had a HTC inspire 4g that in low signal areas of a bar or 2 the phone could not recieve calls or be able to use data while holding, does this phone have this issue?

This question is really about Sense 4.0 - what are the themes available? Is there a dark theme? I don't like how HTC has changed the predominantly dark colors used in ICS to white. I'm guessing there's no possibility of user created custom themes, right?

What's your impression on overall smoothness and app response time? Did you notice any lags/freezes when the phone is busy doing multiple things - e.g updating a bunch of apps.

Does the soft menu button get in the way of a lot of apps? How are the transitions from landscape-portrait mode?

OG EVO speaker phone was awesome, EVO 3D's speaker phone sucked .... where in that spectrum does the X's speaker phone rank?

I have read the reviews on both Sense of 4.0 and the One X itself and I'm sold. My main question though is in regards to the data speeds... I really would like this phone to be able to connect to AT&T's hspa+ network, so now are the data speeds? And does it make use of hspa+? My other question is, I do you think a case will help protect that protruding camera?

Have you noticed that the rear plastic is very easy to scratch?
Just a few hours on mine and its looking ugly with fingerprints and small scratches from being in the pocket.

I suggest people get a case for this phone, not for protecting the glass so much but the plastic.

I'm interested in how well the signal strength is for the radio(s). How well does it perform during a phone call? Call quality, dropped calls, etc.

Hi Phil,

How comfortable is it to hold in the hand? I sold my evo 4g and got a smaller evo design... I know this phone is bit to big for me but how does it compare to let's say the OG evo in width and height?

Does the weather still animate after you open from the lock screen with the weather/flip clock @ the home screen like in previous versions of sense..?

For me, it's actually a little big. I prefer the feel of the One S. (But damned if the display doesn't keep bringing me back.)

Phil,

Can you give more details about battery life? In your tests for the review, would you say you had heavy use or just moderate?

Thanks,
Dave

Dark themes, light themes. Bunch of themes. I have no idea what it'd take to make custom ones.

Smooth. Very smooth

It doesn't get in the way of anything. It's just there. If it bugs you, bug the developer to update the app. Transitions are smooth.

From the sounds of it, it seems like you're tossing your Galaxy Nexus to the side. How much different does the 4.7" screen compare to the 4.65" of the Nexus?

If the Sprint version is anything like the above mentioned (the link you posted).. then I'll be a happy camper. :)

It would be nice of you to post a video of its performance.
