I've got an HTC One X, you have questions ... FIRE AWAY!

Hunh what? No. No flex. I'd love to see that video.

Ask and you shall receive!

Start @ 1:05 then the guy will express his concern about the flex or "bend" in the back of One X.

FYI It took me awhile to find the video and by searching through the video reviews I believe he may have been the only one to have this issue. I am guessing he just got a prototype one x and the build quality wasn't up to spec.

I was wondering why no one really commented on the graphics performance, is the quad core really showing its clout in that area?

Wow. That flex is not on my phone at all. Its solid.
Maybe its isolated to the white one x?

Hopefully the AT&T version actually enables the nfc out of the box unlike the galaxy phones.

What do you mean activating it out of the box? You mean including google wallet ?

I don't know if this has been asked already or not...but, do the homescreens in Sense 4 rotate to landscape mode when the phone is on its side? Now that the kickstand is back, this seems like a logical question to ask.

Home screen does not rotate, I checked my settings and I am set to auto rotate.
Only when going into settings or an application.
Could be different on the sprint version.

Phil what do think about the flex or the video?

I had the same concern and asked Myriam @ Engadget. She said no flex either. From your comment I'm assuming you have black/dark???

Hi there, new poster incoming! :)

I just got the One X yesterday and I've had no problem with the phone 'flexing' and while it's bouncing ever so slightly when I press the back of the phone, it's definitely not what I would call flexing and there's no squeaking or creaking noises to be heard either! :)

Yes. Its the greyish black.
Its either isolated to white one x or the phone in the video was a sample demo handset
The build quality is exceptional.

I am curious about the browser performance. I have seen where some people are concerned about it.

Have you experience emails disappearing after you have read them? There is no way I can retrieve them from the inbox..where have they went to? :'(

A few questions I have:

1. Can you put applications in folders on the app drawer menu?

2. Can you re-arrange the applications in the app drawer menu by dragging them to arrange however you want?

3. How is the native HTC browser? Did you download any 3rd party apps to replace the browser such as Opera?

4. Are the black and white versions of the X One made of the same materials? Do both colors have the same build quality and feel the same?

5. Have you noticed the phone heating up at all when using it? Does the back get hot at all?

6. When holding the phone, and pressing around the phones hardware, do you hear any creeks, cracks, or odd noises that make the device feel cheap?

6 ii. If you press down on the screen do you hear sort of a cracking noise? Does it feel cheap?

The last two questions I have because my Sensation had hardware issues, and since then, I've been iffy about how good the hardware is on HTC products.

Thank you.
