I've never been too Columbia, but my gallery has?

I'm a little confused at this point. When I go into my gallery, the locations under the thumbnails are off by a whole hemisphere. I can figure out where to change it. This my fourth Android phone.
The memory card has been passed on from each since my d1 without issue. Any pointers?

I think its a Verizon issue, My former Thunderbolt would do the same thing.

I know that they removed geo-tagging from the fascinate w the last update, stating that the phone does not support it.
