Well after almost 9 years as an iPhone user (currently have the 5S) I just clicked the order button for a 32GB White Nexus 5 and a Chromecast. I went with 1 day shipping but am not sure if they deliver on Saturday.

I have a lot to learn and am hoping for a smooth transition to Android.

Good call on both of those. It's such a great phone at a great price. If you're on a network that allows it, I can't see why you would use anything else. Let us know how you like it once you have it.

I ordered Saturday.... estimated 'leaving warehouse' date is Tuesday. It is 10:00pm Tuesday and no shipping information yet.

Google warehouse workers have it so nice. They don't work weekends, Mondays OR Tuesdays! We'll see if they show up on Wednesday to send my phone out on the "slow boat" (2nd day).

Meanwhile I stare at my Nexus 4's beautiful lockscreen ... and can't use it at all thanks to the fact I let someone else touch my precious and they dropped it within 30 seconds.

I ordered a White N5 this Saturday, switching from an iPhone 4. Couldn't stand that the phone was getting slower with all the newest versions of the apps, and since I've been happy with my Nexus tablet, I decided to switch.

I ordered last Saturday and still have no shipping news... is that normal? Can't help but be impatient. :-\

Can anyone recommend a good full body protector? I just want a light screen protector for both front and back instead of a case. One that doesn't get fingerprints by the way, unlike my Nexus 7 protector.

Ah yeah. I can't believe they're out of stock. I'm trying to sell my GPE M8 to possibly go back to a Nexus 5, but I really only want the 32gb in black. I'm debating on red just to make it happen, but I prefer minimalist design so much, not sure id be good with red.
