'I've Ordered a Nexus 5' Thread! (Order & Shipping Discussion)

I just contacted with Google Customer Care, according to their rep there is no problem(regarding payment, my credit card already showing the charge) with my order but she is clueless why I didn't receive the shipping confirmation yet although people who ordered hours after me already got their shipping information.

Do they advise placing a 2nd order and canceling the first? I guess if she didn't suggest it, they might not. If you could get two you could always sell one but that might be a hassle.

Looks like to me since they jsut created the shipping labels last night, UPS would still need to pick up all the packages today and scan in the tracking numbers. Once that happens the Two day shipping would start. Expect a Tuesday Delivery.
 
Is it really such or i am feeling that your device will be shipped quite late even after the ones who ordered after u

I don't think so. Everyone I've seen posting ordered theirs yesterday right after the launch. Anyway, my only worry was they'd sell out completely like the nexus 4 did, and I wouldn't be able to get one, I'm not that worried about the ship-by date.

Ordered 2 16GB white Nexus 5 last night at 9:40PM PST. Shows 3-4 weeks for shipping. Just going to wait it out, not anxious after the heart attack I nearly gave myself waiting for the Nexus 4 last time it came out.
 
Yep, same boat as all the others. I placed my order at 1:13 pm CDT and received a confirmation email. Later that day at 11:33 p.m received a shipping confirmation saying that it is shipped but the UPS label is not active yet maybe its going out today. On the google play store receipt it says ships by Nov 5 and on the play store it says leaves warehouse by nov 5 and when you click info it just says shipped. Just waiting for UPS to hurry up and scan it can't believe I'm being so impatient!. I am glad though that i coughed up those four extra bucks for two day shipping :D hopefully it gets here on saturday or monday at the very least.

I ordered one 32GB Black before 2:11PM EST when I got my email confirmation and it still hasn't shipped... Pissed off now.

I ordered the same one as you at 11:19am pst... Still no shipping email. I will try not to get mad until the 5th though.

Can somebody help?!, I've contacted google support, seeing that all you guys got shipping confirmation although many of you have ordered much later than me(I ordered at 11:10:02 AM PST yesterday) & me not getting any shipping information(still showing pending on Google Play Store, Google Wallet). Aren't they supposed to ship the orders in the order they received?, I asked the same the support rep & inquired if there is any problem with the payment going through, she categorically said, there is no problem with my payment and my order is successfully placed & gone through, but couldn't answer why I'm still not given a shipping confirmation even though my order is place within few minutes of it being available. Now I received a follow up email(which you can see below), in which along with the general information there is a interesting line or two(which I've highlighted) that says that the rep see my order has shipped! and asked me to check the same on Google Wallet, but when I checked it is still showing 'Pending'. Now I'm totally confused.
On a side note, she said I can contact her directly through email but I don't see how I can do it, can I contact her directly through email by just replying to the follow-up email?.

@st_7 - I feel your pain don't worry if the google rep is saying it is shipped then it must be shipped just that its taking some time to update your google play account for whatever reason don't worry did you check your credit card or wherever the money has been charged from?. I am sure you will get tracking info soon hang in there, i know its nerve wracking .
 
If my order status shows shipping by 11/5 and I paid for 2 day shipping should it arrive by the 7th. Going to Europe on the 7th at night and don't want this sitting at my door for 2 weeks.

I ordered a 32GB Black Nexus 5 yesterday to use on Sprint, received confirmation at 4:29 PM Central, supposed to ship by 11/8. This will be my first Nexus phone, and I wasn't even planning on upgrading this year! Oh well.

Looking at how the shipping is taking place so far i think you might get it by nov 5th with fri and mon being the two business days.
