I just got an email right now. I was so happy I almost jumped out of my seat. Too bad it was just an email from Sony Playstation telling me about new games.

Back to being sad! :banghead:

Anyone in SoCal get there shipping info for the 32GB Black that ordered less than 10 min after it was released?

Ordered 20 minutes after you and no dice, can 20 minutes really make a difference?

As I've mentioned previously, I don't think there is any rhyme or reason at all, when it comes to the order in which the phones are shipped. On the previous page, a forum member from Ohio ordered the same variant as me at the same time as me. His phone was shipped, mine is still pending. I'll start worrying if I don't get a shipping confirmation by November 5.

Yes, it seems so. About 35 minutes after launch people started getting November 8th instead of November 5th. And shortly after that it went to 3-4 weeks wait time.

My guess is that a lot of people found themselves in the same position as me. They got their first Android phone a couple years ago and came to learn that they'd much rather have a pure Google experience. Add that to the fact that Android has been gaining market share ever since. Plus, most of us heard about what happened with the Nexus 4 supply. So I'm sure there were quite a few people ordering in that first 30 minutes.

Yep indeed it does seeing how google probably didn't' have a large quantity of stock. They always short the amount as they don't want to make more than what they think will sell, as that saves them money from eating unsold stock in the long run.

mine says it will leave the warehouse on the 15th. but it also says pending. does that mean i'm not guaranteed a device or something? i think i remember it saying i wont get charged until it gets shipped but just to make sure...

They're all back in stock again. Just cancelled my two white 16GB and ordered one black 16GB! Says 3-4 weeks and before my white said 2-3 weeks but I'd rather wait and get a black like I really want.

Yes I did and my worker. We both order about 6 minutes into the launch. Both of our will be here by Monday. Both orders were with 2 days shipping.

Ordered at 11:28am yesterday with the date still saying it'll ship by Nov 5...and status still "Pending".
Location: San Francisco

32 GB black. Ships November 8th. I'm so excited to get a nexus from the play store and be able to use it on Sprint.

Go Hokies!

OK what time was it released in the play store? I ordered mine at 1:23pm central time.
