Finally got my shipping confirmation at 4:43 a.m. this morning!

no you can't pick it up early. the only thing you can do is change the destination - but that won't speed delivery up - in fact it may delay it further. i did go in and change my delivery instructions to "Leave at Front Door" (No Signature Required).

Where did you see the option for that?

yes i know you can change pick up/destination (including at UPS) but does that necessarily mean you can get it early?

If you called today (or Monday if it's due Tuesday) you can arrange to pick it up instead of delivery if delivery is late, problematic for you. They load stuff on the trucks any time from maybe 6 to 8 am local time.

sign up for "My UPS" on UPS.com. from there you can enter in your tracking number and then provide delivery instructions.

ha i'll be stalking the UPS guy all day Monday. i'll be jumping every time i hear anything that sounds like a truck! the "Leave At Door" is just in case i miss him - i don't need my Nexus 5 being thrown back into transit! i hope it comes early Monday!

Well, I'm stuck waiting 2 to 3 weeks. So at the latest 11/22, plus being in the military overseas and Google won't ship to fpo, I had to have it shipped to family who will then ship it to me. Oh happy days.....

Finally got the Nexus , its in town and the annoying bit is I can't pick it up until Monday because UPS center closed on Saturday . Ah well patience is key i suppose either way i put a hold on it so i can pick it up first thing monday morning and not play the waiting game on monday hhehe .

I Ordered a Black 32GB N5 at 2:10 EST and woke up Sat with email sent at 4:51AM that my unit was in the process of shipping. Live in Florida and had 2 day shipping. Hit the UPS tracking and it said;

Shipping Label Created On: 11/01/2013
A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.

I ordered a White 32 Gb at 2:23 PM EST and woke up today (Saturday) with an order shipped email from 4:43 AM EST. Now, the question i have is that as i have requested 2 days shipping, is Saturday counted as one of the 2 days or not?

Just ordered a 16 black. They are back in stock. Says 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. I'll just have to wait. Unlock bootloader and root as soon as it gets outta the box. Should have some good stuff to flash by the time it gets here.

No. Only Monday thru Friday, excluding national holidays.

Mine is at my local UPS...just sitting there till Monday, haha. Wish UPS was open for pickup or something on Saturdays

Depends on where you live and where it is shipping from. Mine shipped today and it will arrive in Monday. I live in Salt Lake City and it's shipping from CA.

It arrived at my local UPS facility just a few miles away at 4:08 AM. I'm in Nor*Cal. I could totally see "out for delivery" sometime today! :-D

Most likely not. UPS doesn't deliver on Saturday unless Saturday delivery is specified/paid for. Apparently mine is sitting here in Chicago, but unfortunately no pick-ups on Saturday's either. Oh well, fortunately I have plenty of things to do this weekend to keep me busy.

Ordered 32GB Black.
Shipped yesterday and scheduled delivery is next Thursday via UPS Ground because I was so excited and forgot to change shipping method.
I am on VZW now but I can switch anytime since I am out of contract one and half year ago.
