Got my shipping email at 3am this morning central time.

32gb Black ordered 17 minutes after site went live. My buddy ordered 30 minutes after me and his shipped before mine and his will arrive on monday, he did not pay for upgraded shipping.

I on the the other hand paid for upgraded shipping and have no tracking updates since it is UPS that means I will get it Tuesday, kind of upsetting I wasted money on the faster shipping..

Shipping to Northwest Indiana/Chicago area

Don't feel too bad, I didn't even see the option for better shipping and mine will be here on Thursday

I ordered the black 32gb on the 31st at 12:02pm unfortunately it doesn't arrive until Thursday in LA.

Interesting. I ordered about a hour before you the same exact model and I am in California as well. Weird. I even paid for the 2 day. Weirder. Is it coming from a warehouse in California?

yes i know you can change pick up/destination (including at UPS) but does that necessarily mean you can get it early?

This process is very frustrating but hopefully something will come soon so I can stop checking this thread along with my email and google wallet account to see if anything changed. Pretty sad, lol

Ordered my 16 GB Nexus 5 (White) at 2:21 PM EST on Thurs Oct 31st. Received an email that it has shipped at 4:00 AM this morning. Woohoo!

I would guess that the speed the order is processed then shipped has to do with how fast your particular choice of payment goes through...I use AMEX and it approves very fast. I'm guessing we all had to use Wallet, and emails generally travel in second's. The orders would have to be processed fairly linearly or it would break the system.

That is pretty much the only thing I can see effecting their processing. I had thought it might also be your connection speed especially if your order didn't go through right away.(Like mine didn't) That can't be the case though I was on a hotspot (3-5Mbs)when I placed the order.

Oh and it shouldn't be UPS...I went with the standard shipping ($9.99) 3-5 and it's here by Tue. Having said that mine is coming out of Kentucky, So that might add a day on a trip to CA. (I'm 10 hours from KY.) One quick ride in the Buster Brown Doubles. Is anyone else showing the Origin as someplace else?

Ordered 32GB Black at 2:10pm or so and got shipping notice at 12:45am. 2-day shipping to Georgia. On Verizon, this is my test phone for T-Mo. My son will take this or my Droid Maxx and I'll get the leftover. I ordered a nano-sim on Wed from T-mo, hope it gets here when the phone does. If not, anyone know if I can just go into T-mo and pick up a sim, then activate on $30/mo prepaid plan?

U can either go to wal-mart or T-Mobile and get a sim card.

I ordered a 32GB White via the Chrome browser on my N4 at about 3:00pm on launch day here in NYC. Got the email confirmation soon thereafter and a shipped notice that evening after midnight. Didn't pony up for 2-day shipping as I'm in no hurry. My UPS tracking number says I should receive it by EOD on Wed.

Bought a couple of cases via Amazon to try out as well as a screen protector.
