Is that even with the "free 2 day shipping"? Or would I have to pay for the overnight to get that? I'm fine with paying the $14 to overnight it if I need to but don't necessarily want to for no reason.

I originally called to buy faster shipping option because I was originally told the "free 2 day shipping". When I called back I was told there were NO other options, even for an additional charge and that with the "free 2 day shipping" it would be shipped 4/9 and delivered 4/10

Was up to 1:00am on 4/1, no pre-order option on VZW. Woke up and it became available for me around 6:00am. Pre-ordered a black 128GB. First phone I also bought the protection plan for.

I know this is a long shot, but I'm gonna call my local Best Buy and ask if they will allow me to pick mine up earlier...think they will do it?

Yeah, it's exactly like GameStop's getting busted for giving games out before the release date. The store (or franchise) faces losing the ability to run things like midnight releases, etc.

Oh well, worth a shot. I doubt they even have any stock in store yet. I'm guessing they will get them early next week....

This is my first post here, migrating over from CrackBerry. I love my Z10, but it's 2 years old now and I don't see any practical upgrades available any time soon from BlackBerry (at least not on VZW). I was intrigued by the BlackBerry slider they showed at MWC, but again who knows when it will come out and if it will even be available on VZW. So this morning, I ordered a black 128GB S6 edge. Was intrigued by the gold but hadn't seen it in person and Verizon won't have that version until 5/1. Bad enough that I have to wait an extra week for the 128GB version.

Was going to order from BestBuy to get the free wireless charger, but I got an email from Verizon offering me "$100 or more" if I ordered it from them and traded in my old smart phone.

AT&T Black Sapphire Galaxy S6 Edge 32GB. Preordered it at midnight from AT&T. Went back and forth all day yesterday about whether I wanted the S6 or S6 Edge. Decided to take the plunge on the more expensive option. You really can't lose either way with these versions. Haven't been this excited for a phone since the Galaxy Nexus way back when (and I've owned everything in between).

AT&T preorders began last Friday 3/27. The only information available right now as to when at&t will begin shipping pre-orders is 4/8.

My wife got screwed by att when she ordered her iPhone 6. They kept pushing the date out every couple weeks so we got pissed and cancelled. Walked into best buy and bought the damn thing lol.

I'm just curious if this might happen somehow again with the S6. Needless to say I'm now quite skittish of pre ordering anything.

I'm thinking it might just be easier for me to wait until the 10th so I can walk out of the store with it.

Same here. From CrackBerry. Who knows when VZW will get the next great Full touch BB. More of a slab guy myself so that slider with the edge screen wasn't for me. Got the S6 early morning. Felt it was my only option worth upgrading to as i usually do it every 2, and my Z is old. Ear piece going for the second time, screen replaced once. I will miss loading the leaks though, and the forums, great site. Who knows might be back in 2. Oh well here i come Android!

I can't confirm that but in the past if I chose one day shipping (which used to be free with the order) I would receive on the launch day at my house. When I ordered last night only option I had was 2 day shipping and I called in today, supposedly the website wasn't working properly and one day wasn't offered at the time. I'm thinking of cancelling and pre-ordering through Best Buy.

I ordered a few hours after pre-ordering launched around 5am central time. I was given the option for overnight priority shipping for $14.99

I've been going back and forth with AT&T for the past few days as their ordering system screwed up and the phone rep said they don't anticipate a shipping delay on 32GB and 64GB and when I talked to a local store when it looked like I might have to re pre-order in store they said they anticipated having plenty in stock, though the 128GB might be slim stock wise. So I think it won't be that bad.

I would not be surprised if Apple shortchanges carriers on stock so that people will go and get it directly from Apple/Apple stores. Galaxy's have always been massive sellers and I don't recall them ever having the stock issues that iPhones run into.

Today I finally took the plunge and pre ordered my white AT&T 64GB S6 from best buy and decided to switch from contract to NEXT (we'll see how that works out hah)

This after agonizing for a week and going back and forth between the two models.

I think I'll be happy with it (and the free wireless charger!) I have the Note 3 currently and it seems considerably better which is really saying something IMO.
