"I've ordered my Galaxy S6" (Order & Shipping Discussion)

Re: "I've ordered my Galaxy S6" (Order & Shipping Discussion)

You may be waiting a while on the 128GB. I ended up going 64GB black sapphire on AT&T.

I went in to AT&T tonight with my S6 Edge 128GB to return it and of course I can't pre-order the S6 128GB yet so they noted my account and will let me return once its available for pre-order or actual order in the coming weeks and return without issue. I love the S6 Edge, but its just odd feeling to hold and use, and getting accessories are a pita.

My shipping changed overnight from delivery Friday before 8 to N/A. What's up with that?

I can finally breath easier, my phone reappeared on the USPS tracking board, it arrived at my local post office and is due for delivery today....
Its about time......

I preordered from VZ on 04/05. Just got a shipment notification. Seems like they upgraded me to standard overnight :) should be here tomorrow!

Pre-ordered 128gb Regular S6 on first pre-order day of 3/27 with T-Mobile.

Checked order status online and now is saying "Awaiting more shipments from Samsung. Expected to ship between 04/17/2015 and 04/24/2015"

Maybe it's just me but waiting almost a month out from pre-order to receive a Samsung device is kinda crazy.

This is my plan of attack:
Well I found out the Gold 32 wont be sent until the 21st sooooo I'm going to head to Costco tomorrow and get one.

Finally my ATT GS6 has arrived via FedEx, just as I get off work! And my accessories just arrived as well ! Luckily my brother was there to sign for it. Rushing home to play with it!

Not it's not just you. They screwed this up as far as the 128 GB version goes.

Sent from my Sony Xperia Z3 using Tapatalk.

On a related note, does anyone know if Fedex can leave a package if you leave a signed note on the door? My condo office won't sign for packages (stupid!) and I may not be home when they arrive. I don't really want to play the game of dealing with Fedex after hours.

Verizon won't leave it without a signature. But Google left my 1000$ pixel on my front porch both were fedex.

I realize that, what I'm asking is will they accept a signed letter with the tracking info on it? Looking around online, I'm getting a mixed response. Indirect signature doesn't require someone present at the home. A neighbor, office manager, etc. can sign for it.

If you realize that Verizon won't leave it without a signature then why are you asking? Are you asking about another carrier? Signature required with Verizon means that someone has to be there to sign. Although like you said, you already realize that.

Indirect signature means someone (doesn't have to be the end recipient) can sign for it. As I said, looking around after I first asked the question, there seems to be mixed success to leaving a note on the door signed with the tracking info on it. Sometimes, Fedex will take the note with them. Other times they will just leave the packages. So, in essence, you are signing like you would if they left a door tag after a failed delivery attempt, but without the official Fedex tag to do so with. If they required direct signature, then the recipient would have to sign. I've attached the description from Fedex for anyone else (since you already know) who might find it useful.

Indirect Signature Required: FedEx obtains a signature from someone at the delivery address; from a neighbor, building manager or someone at a neighboring address; or the recipient can also leave a FedEx Door Tag authorizing release of the package without anyone present.

Direct Signature Required: FedEx obtains a signature from someone at the delivery address. If no one is at the address, we reattempt delivery.

Can't wait to get my hands on my black sapphire 64GB GS6 on AT&T. After my meeting tomorrow afternoon, I heading to Best Buy.

BTW, I thought we had 72 horse to pick up our preorders but the email said 24 hours. Still no email on the wireless charging pad.
