I will say, for once, you've used your quote correctly. I'm calm, just excited to get the phone. Richard, on the other hand, needs to calm down.
Sure, it's annoying to be told early May, and here we are in early May and they still don't have an exact date for us. It's also annoying, that I still can't log in and check the status of my order. Not even with the link Richard posted earlier today. It makes me a little anxious thinking that maybe I won't get one at all because their system lost my order. But, worst case scenario,I can always just go pick it up at tmobile whenever they finally launch it.

Just got confirmation from Amex..my CC has been charged for the phone. That means there is movement of some kind :)
 
Everyone please tweet at @HTCUSA and tell them how they treat HTC customer. Maybe they will ship early.

Why, they haven't done anything wrong. They said they would ship in early May. For me, anything up to May 9th I would consider early.

They didn't do anything wrong but at the pre order point. I expect to get the item before or at least in the same time with the carrier. I am happy to Verizon customer no jealous.

PS my order status change too.
 
But Verizon customers preordered too. By the posts, it's clear that some people are angry that they thought they were "first in line" and if "jealously" isn't the word, I don't know what is. Not trying to shame anyone. I truly just don't get how people could let themselves get angry about someone else's pre-order, for a phone, arriving first. I guess I'll never understand phone culture. :(

You're right, of course. After all, Verizon customers are getting the less-capable version versus our fully-functional, unlocked masterpiece of a device. And it is just a phone. Not life and death. I can understand how my post could be seen as pouty jealousy. But what's the point of being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes? :p
 
I haven't received a notice, but if you look under my order through you verizon app it's says shipped 05/02, so I'm guessing will receive them tomm

Jack, Bowie is not right... I pre-ordered the unlocked HTC 10 like two weeks before Verizon pre-orders were even available. Common sense says HTC should have allocated the first phones off the line to be unlocked ones for their CUSTOMERS who ordered FIRST (and had them ready to be shipped) NOT to Verizon because they said jump.

Regardless, I see my order has been sent to fulfillment to be shipped so it should be all good now. :-)
