We did the first week of December last year. It was busy, but not insanely crowded. Any holiday week is going to be straight up bonkers.

As a person that lives in FL, I avoid it like the plague.

Ordered Monday from VZ, shipped last night, should arrive on Thursday. Picking up a 64Gb card today from Fry's Electronics. Has anyone used the HTC Transfer Tool app? How well does it work?

The ironic part is .. I have been in FL my whole life (mostly) and yet I still never been to Disney even though I have been to Orlando a ton (I live in Jacksonville).

I'm sure we'll be down your way sooner than later. My wife is from Iowa and is eager to explore FL.

If you have young kids the parks are great, but almost always crowded. I once had booked a trip up there for middle of September 2001, which obviously was right after 9/11. I have never seen the park so empty. The only people that were there were Brits/Europeans. Didn't need the fast pass that day.

It's the principal though. I ordered the 13th and my status is still boxed shipment. Others ordered a week or two later and are pending fulfillment. I ordered before those people, I would expect to have mine before those people. It's like going and standing in line for movie tickets, concert tickets, or (gasp) the iPhone. You're the 1st or 2nd in line, then they start randomly choosing people to sell to before you.

I called back to check and the person said that was the wrong info I got. I in turn asked about the tracking and they said they don't know who I spoke to. I am starting to get really angry at this point. Now they are saying they will try and charge the card this week and send the phone next week.

Don't feel bad. I got charged and don't have anything but a bill waiting for me.
