"I've ordered my HTC 10!" (Order & Shipping Discussion)

Its interesting to see how people are impatient and cancelling the order and then suddenly the phone is meh anyway not that good. Lol.

That was always my plan. I got it for cheap so I was going to resell it and turn a profit, then buy an S7. I could have made a fair bit, especially since the discount ends today. Basically every review has said the screen isn't great in sunlight, that is my one major deal breaker on any phone I have. Oh well.

So to be the devils advocate if you were doing it to turn a profit it shouldn't matter at all about the phone shipping time/date/status? And if the screen is that bad, and you are even mostly interested in turning a profit, should it not be a big deal if it ships this afternoon or tomorrow morning or whenever?

if that was always your plan then why would you cancel the order? I don't think you would have been able to get it for cheap enough to turn a profit. Even if you were able to get it cheap enough the slight delay of it arriving wouldn't have mattered in turning a profit. So really cancelling your order was then a horrible business move.

Evil minds think alike....

Exactly, reasoning doesn't make sense. It's more like impatient, just got angry and trying to justify cancelling the order.

Anyway we probably don't care and we will wait for our phones to be delivered soon and enjoy it, we will leave the regret to the impatient ones :)

Cancellers remorse? :)

I would have liked to have been close to the first or first one for sale on Swappa, before the market gets flooded. Easier to sell for higher if you have the only one up for sale. I don't regret cancelling. Oh and for whoever said I probably didn't get it for cheap. How's 479 before tax sound?

I just call HTC rep and she said HTC 10 pre order will start shipping tomorrow.

Maybe @HTCUSA mentioned that they start shipping the phone is Verizon pre order.
