Talked to a Google CSR again, had a fun conversation about the phone as they were waiting for theirs of the same capacity and color too! They told me from what theyve seen, I'll probably be charged over the weekend and see it at the beginning of next week! Not holding them to that, of course, but that makes me feel better

What was funny to me, they ordered the same thing 7 hours after me, because they were working that day, and said they were afraid they would be sold out from the massive amount of orders before they could get home! Hahaha, i liked them, Deven O I believe.

If I'm not mistaken, they may still deactivate your original card even if you haven't activated your new one. Not positive, but I thought I read that somewhere when my first chipped card got to me.

Like you had warned, my bank decided to deactivate my old card today. It worked fine till yesterday.
But they deactivated it today. And today was the day Google decided to charge my credit card :-\
But, the good thing is that they didn't cancel my order. They gave me an option to select a different payment method. Phew!

But based on his response he seems to say this model; not getting an official email from Google neither.

Ordered on launch day 9-29
Went to processing 10-28
Credit card charged 10-28
Now expected delivery with Fedex is 10-30 by end of day

Despite some hard feelings of later orders getting shipped faster, I'm quite pleased that Google sent it out a week early and with one day shipping apparently. Seems like the real people who lost out are the delayed shipments with certain types and those who paid for faster shipping, unless that meant that Google sent out your package early to Fedex which I doubt.

per a post on reddit - it seems Project FI orders for 128GB Frost are already being processed... even the ones that were ordered Oct 30 (as someone claims).. SMH
