"I've ordered my Nexus 6P" (Order & Shipping Discussion)

Question for anyone who has had experience with this:
Mine went into processing yesterday, and the google CSR says expected ship date is 11/15...is that just him doing his job to read what's on the screen, or will it actually be stuck in processing for the next 15 days?

That's what they are seeing on the screen, and in their eyes if it gets there before the 15th, they under promised and over delivered. That's their outlook...lol

Same here for me. In the UK, ordered 64gb Graphite before the announcement had finished. Been pending for a good while...says it will leave the warehouse before the 1st of November. Estimated delivery date 3rd Nov to 5th Nov.

Today is the 1st and no update.

Seems we're in the same boat then.
I know it will be worth the wait, but damn it's a frustrating ordering process.
Annoying that I want a higher capacity handset, as I could have hot a 32gb one delivered to my local Carphone Warehouse by tomorrow..

Exactly what I just did this morning. My 32 Graphite has been stuck in processing for 5 days. Just ordered a 64 Aluminum to see what happens. At least it went to processing right away.

Stuck in processing since Oct 26th. Called Fi project and they told me that it will ship on Nov 9th. It looks like that it'll arrive on the date they mentioned very first time (Nov 12-16th).

Also, can anyone recommend a good case for the phone from amazon? Does it need a screen protector despite Gorilla glass?

I guess then I am not the only one in the same shoes. I am just hoping that I wake up tomorrow morning and status is shipped. I have been so looking forward to the but the entire experience has disappointed me. Wish I had taken a contract with EE or through CPW. I would have had the phone almost a week back

Why do some process for hours, some for days, and some for weeks?

Because Google uses a dart board or Price Is Right wheel to decided who gets their phones. They're not too concerned when you get your phone as long as it's somewhere around their vague regurgitated dates.

Totally random but that's slang for where your from. Like when people in Chicago reference Chicago as shy town. Basically same for people who say pop instead of soda it's all on where your from.

That's what fi told me as well when they pushed me back for the 2nd time 12th-16th
Going to be a glorious 2 weeks waiting while some peeps will have had it for weeks already by that time.

Sad part is that its the truth. Google can get away with this, the tech sites most likely won't even dwell into it. If apple had done this, forget it...It would have been mayhem.

See, this is what I'm talking about... I ordered the same model Graphite 64GB on the LAUNCH DAY and still haven't got mine... smh... Google reps telling me that Graphite 64GB is out of stock is such a BS because people already got their Graphite 64GB... BTW, congrats on getting your 6P! Enjoy!

I get that you're upset that you preordered and some that didn't are going to get their phones before you (my 32 gb aluminum that was ordered Thursday night will arrive tomorrow), I'd probably be a little upset also. However, if you have a working phone, what's the rush? It'll arrive when it arrives. I guess I can say that with my situation being what it is but be patient, there are worse things to worry about in this world than a phone showing up a week later than you thought it might.

Says someone who just ordered a phone thursday night and it's arriving tomorrow. Quite frankly, those estimated shipping dates became crap once they start shipping the first phones early. Those preorders should have been fulfilled first, no matter how people who already have their phones, and who've exited this thread, try to spin it.

I'd like to have had my phone by now too, but until the estimated delivery date that Google gave me when I ordered the thing passes, I don't really have grounds to complain. Just hope I don't get my date pushed back like some people are seeing.
