I just spoke to a shipping specialist through chat since I never received my follow up email. I was told that my order is still within the estimated delivery date and that I would get a $7 refund for it not shipping out on it's ship by date. I was told that if it doesn't make it to my house within the estimate to email them back. I asked when they believed my order would be shipped and he said within the next day because there are no known delays on the graphite models but not to quote him on it.

That's a crock of s**t been waiting on a 128GB Graphite model, so I'm guessing that isn't entirely true.

My Nexus 6P (128 GB Graphite) is suppose to be shipped Nov5-6th, but the order status is still pending, and I have not been charged (The pending charge on my bank statement went away several weeks ago).

I had a quick chat with Google Support, and they assured me that my order will be shipped by the 6th. The support specialist I spoke with requested that I get back to him directly if I do not get any updates about my order by tomorrow. Below is the chat log, and the subsequent email I received:

Seems my experience was a bit different; fingers crossed that I get the device by the end of this week!

I'm in UK, ordered 6P 64Gb Aluminium soon after it was available on Play Store. Stuck on Pending since last week, delivery between 3-5 Nov, no update, no communication from Google! Very annoyed

Seems my experience was a bit different; fingers crossed that I get the device by the end of this week!

It's basically them just being civil and saying what we want to hear. They honestly know nothing! The meat and potatoes of all this is that Google just messed up and does not care. Google Play store still has the 32GB Aluminum available as I wait on my order for a month...Just crazy.

I talked to Google customer service about an hour ago. She said she was sorry that people who were ordering the 6Ps just now are seeing their devices being shipped, when people who have pre-ordered long ago are still waiting in the "Processing" state. She said that because my order hasn't actually been delayed, she cannot guarantee the $25 credit (on top of the standard $50 credit I would receive). The store says my 6P would leave the wearhouse by Nov 5th, and the rep said I should just sit tight and wait for the shipment email and if I don't receive it by the 5th, then I should contact them again.

Well, in the hour since I talked to them, my card was charged AND I got a shipment confirmation email !!! I chose the free shipping, but Google upgraded me to free Fed-Ex Overnight I guess. So its possible that I'll get it by tomorrow afternoon!

My chat with them was civil and I didn't lose my patience. I was however on the verge of losing it and taking out my frustration on them, but glad I didn't. Not sure if my chat with them made any difference, probably just a coincidence that it shipped immediately after. But I'm so happy!! Be patient guys, it sounds like the "leaves wearhouse by" date is legit!

Ordered (on Oct 1st)
Nexus 6P, 64GB, Aluminum

Ordered (on Oct 1st)
Nexus 6P, 64GB, Aluminum

My leaves warehouse date is November 2nd. Yet the order still sits in processing.
64GB Frost

64GB Frost

Yeah, my leaves warehouse date is October 30. Still pending. Though I can still hope it'll make it by it's deliver by date (November 4-6). I'd love to have the new phone for the weekend...

128GB Aluminum

Looks like the 64 GB Alum I ordered yesterday just shipped today. I should have it my hands tomorrow. Probably going to cancel the 128 GB Alum preorder from 9/29 which is stuck in pending hell. I can make due with the lower storage capacity..the 128 was definitely an impulse buy haha.

Not for me, without the expandable storage I need the 128GB, I'm an IT guy and I use my phone for it, need the storage....

When I talked to support a few minutes ago this is what he said about fi orders:

Michael K 2:30 PM
Your device was pre-ordered. The device is spoken for, by you. We just don't have it ready for you yet. The Project Fi folks, send you out additional information with your devices. It may be why they were always quoted a bit farther out than normal orders.

I ordered 64GB Aluminum on 10/3.. went to processing 11/2.. It has always had expected date of 11/12-11/16 but the guy said it should be shipping by 11/9.

I'm in the exact same boat. I flipped to processing on Friday night, but radio silence since.

Me too.
If I can't have a microSD, I need 128GB.
I currently have a 128GB microSD in my LG G3 and have about 20GB left.

My ship by date is Nov. 5 and I'm sitting in "PENDING" hell.
I pre-ordered on 9/29........

so after my horrible experience with huawei i cancelled my 64gb graphite order.

then i got bored at work today and saw the 32gb aluminum is in stock and ended up ordering it with 1day shipping.

it's processing now and is supposed to leave the warehouse tomorrow.

make me believe again google!

I lucked out. I never read that the 6P took a micro sim, luckily an AT&T store was still open, and nearby when I was able to set up the new phone.

Plan Ahead!

I ordered a 64g Frost on 9/30. The estimated arrival is 5-9. Status is still pending, and has been for about 2 weeks now. Google also told me its not late until after the estimated arrival but we will see. I live in FL so if it ships from CA its going to take a while.

That is the situation I am in. While I am frustrated in that I presumed Google was giving us far off shipping dates and did so so that if they shipped early everyone would be ecstatic.

I will not be completed upset until the evening of Nov 9th and I am not posting here from my 64GB Frost 6P.

Younger me would be all fired up like many people here, but guess I've eased up a bit in my older age. ;).

Here's my update:

Monday 11/2 my 9/29 pre-order for 64GB Aluminum was still pending so late 11/2, I decided to just place an order for another 64GB Aluminum.

Today 11/3, before noon today my 11/2 order went to processing while my 9/29 order was still pending. After lunch passed, my 11/2 order shipped with confirmation to arrive overnight on Wednesday. Just after my 11/2 order shipped, my 9/29 order went to processing, but no shipping confirmation yet (go figure). I can't cancel it anymore so I'll either return or sell once I receive my original order (and my Play Store credit!)

But now: FedEx tracking is showing under notes, "Weekday Delivery, No Signature Required". No signature required?!? Isn't that kind of unsafe for a $500 package? I'm not sure if I trust this package to be left in the lobby of my apartment building, so I'm going to have to find a way to hold the package at the FedEx office. Has anybody done this before? I've done it with UPS before, but never FedEx.

My leaves warehouse date is November 2nd. Yet the order still sits in processing.
64GB Frost

Whoa, a 64 frost that made it out of Pending??? I was a Nov 2nd ship date too but still pending over here :( Processing would at least give me hope, haha.

Yay, got charged today and now have a tracking number too. I'm actually excited to get this phone.
