Did you 6P Arrive on time?

Interesting you have a solid date, I've still only got a 2-3 week estimate. Are you in the US? I ordered Oct. 2nd so that puts me between tomorrow and the 23rd. It would be awesome to get it that early. But I have my doubts. Either way that lands delivery over a weekend. I'm with you though, I hope it isn't over a weekend. I did pay for two day. Seems like they always manage to drag out expedited delivery over the weekend. Fingers crossed, anyway.

I'm in the US and I ordered immediately on Sept. 29th. It looks like the ship dates are somewhat coming together bit by bit, although I don't get why some are showing only a couple days later. Maybe that's just the way the software is processing things.

64gb Frost

Now it says leaves warehouse by Oct 30th! Hurry up phone!!! :)

I ordered at 11am PST for Frost 64gb and still shows pre-ordered. Oh well, I'm going to give it a 7 day trial against my ip6+ and go through returns if I don't see a big difference.

Did you order from Google store or Huawei? Made my order on September 29 (Nexus 6p 64g) and still shows Preordered (November 6-9)

I'm on Page 1 of this thread, post #8.... I had to enter the URL manually on Google Store to get in for this device page... so I'd say I was on there in the first 10-15 minutes it was alive. Mine was in Preordered status until yesterday when it then showed Pending. Now today it changed to Leaves warehouse by October 30.

I'm thinking of ordering a Back case in Amazon and I saw a Tempered Glass for 6P in the Recommended Section.

Will the back case be compatible if I decided to put a Tempered Glass? Since the Case will somehow consume a fraction of the Front Sidings.

Or will it be overkill if I put a Tempered Glass in my Nexus 6P?

That's not overkill. That's how I do it on all my devices-glass screen protector and a thin clear case.

Usually the tempered glass is made slightly narrower and shorter to allow a case to grip on. At least that's how it's been on my last few phones. However, I've only used thin cases that don't grip onto too much of the edge. So your mileage may vary with say...an otterbox?

I always recommend getting a tempered glass screen protector to everyone. They're cheap as hell now and will save a lot of headaches when dropped. Also, installation is much easier than one of those flimsy plastic screen protectors.

Sorry I meant, how do you get to the Google play Store screen with the estimated leaves warehouse date?

Open Play Store on computer. Click the settings button on the top-right corner and got to My Account. Your app order history appears, but the phone is part of the list with that info.

mine is saying it will leave the warehouse by october 30th. the delivery window for that is Nov 3 to 10, to Canada.

I've been wanting a new phone for about 6 months. I had a M8 running CM so I was fine and I didn't want to buy a 6 month old Nexus so I was patiently waiting for the new Nexus(s) to be released. a couple months ago my M8 stopped charging so I bought a first gen Moto G off someone on Craigslist to get me by until I get my new phone. The wait has been excruciating. Recently I've been considering buying a Nexus 6 for $400 just to get me through the month until my 6p gets here. It's going to be a great big Merry Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa all wrapped into one to me once that thing arrives :)

Same thing happened to me with the M8. Never dropped it and one day it just stopped charging. Purchased Moto E as a temp phone, it's so slow. Patiently waiting for the 6P. During which I tried using the Iphone 6S but couldn't get around the OS and price tag.

My fiance's nexus 4 stopped charging this summer and i replaced the charging port. It's a very easy operation on most phones. no soldering required and it cost me about $5 to do it. I went ahead and replaced her battery while i was at it.

Because i did that, she could get the nexus 6p instead of something earlier and instead of having to buy a placeholder phone. The cricket moto E is $49 at walmart, but as mentioned above, it's not a great phone.

Guys, I doubt we're getting our phones next week. The nexus 5x units were in pending a solid week before ours. I think we're waiting until the week of the 26th.

When I try ordering from the Google store, I get charged tax. But in the Huawei store, no tax? Is it normal for some stores to charge tax even though the address is the same?

Sounds like people are starting to see charges for the 5X with a change in order status to 'processing'. So our 6Ps should be right around the corner.

Huawei may charge or not taxes depending on which state you live in!

A retailer has to collect sales tax for any state in which it has a physical presence. So that means Google has a physical presence in your state, but Huawei doesn't.

Think it depends on whether they have a business presence in your state, so it's not that weird for one company to charge tax and one not to.

Awesome. Guess I get to save $40. Haha!
