For the record, I too, am from Canada. And we don't all act like that person.
I do see both sides, to a point. My Nexus 5 died a week ago so I'm currently using a 3 year old phone that barely works, so yea, I really really really wish the 6P was shipping sooner. But I also knew when I ordered when the estimated ship time was. And all in all this has been the best nexus order experience since google started selling directly with the Nexus 4. I'd rather have a month delay in getting the phone than the debacles we've seen in the past. Google charged me 3 times and sent me 3 Nexus 4's. My N5 order was magically cancelled, then came back. I didn't buy the N6 but it was virtually impossible to buy from google for like, 4 months.
Is this solution ideal? No, frankly it isn't. in a perfect world google would, in fact announce a phone and get it in people's hands a week later. But it is still the best situation we've had in 4 years of Nexus sold from google.
