I'm trying to stay away from this forum because I'm dying to get back on android and especially a nexus. But I can't resist checking people's status or orders lol.
Once you go Nexus, there's no looking back. Go for it, you won't regret it! I'm done with Apple and iTunes BS!

Damn. I really want to order one. If this phone was only 5.2-5.5 I'd be all over this

Ordered 32GB Graphite October 4th and canceled. Reordered the same on October 9th. Order changed from "PREORDERED" to "PENDING" today October 18th.
Good for you. For some reason my day 1 order of a 64 GB Aluminium is still stuck in Preordered purgatory, when people like you that ordered 10 days later are moving forward. Makes no sense. Not your fault, but want to see some logic in the process.
I thought I was the only one with the same situation! I ordered the Alumminium 64g September 29 and still says preordered (6-9 November). Hope we soon have an explanation.
The only explanation I can think of is that everyone will go pending before shipping, and they are doing this conversion in batches. You are likely in the same batch as me, because I ordered one day delivery and have an ETA of Nov. 5-6, your Nov. 6-9 must be a two day delivery from the same batch. I have yet to see anyone with a 64 GB Aluminium from the Nov. 5-6, Nov. 6-9, Nov. 9-11, shipping batch go Pending yet. Most likely we will all go pending soon, and then hopefully the warehouse will be more fully manned closer to ship date, and the actual shipping schedule will be based on time of ordering, and not some random batch pulling by a few people who can't get to every batch at once.
P.S. -- I have also seen reports of delivery estimates for people who ordered early (within 2 hours of start) shift from an inexplicable late date of Nov. 10-12 to a more logical Oct. 29-Nov. 2. It's possible that the preorder delivery projection schedule had bugs on day 1, and as the orders are really being put into the system, and going pending, the schedule is being recalculated. If this happens to me (although my delivery date of Nov 5-6 on the evening order on Oct 29 is not unreasonable), I would be ecstatic. Just move to Pending already dammit.
Yeah but after having an S6 with that beautiful QHD screen it would be hard to go back to 1080p.

Dude, it doesn't really make a difference on cell phones or even tablets for that matter. The displays are too small. I'm getting the N6P and I would gladly give up the quad HD and go 720p so that the battery would last 3 times longer.
