Pending here too, but got to wait until 3-5 November.

Re: Just got mine!

Good for you. For some reason my day 1 order of a 64 GB Aluminium is still stuck in Preordered purgatory, when people like you that ordered 10 days later are moving forward. Makes no sense. Not your fault, but want to see some logic in the process.

Same here.... ordered a 64 GB aluminum about an hour after pre-order opened, and I'm still sitting at "preordered". I'm sure this all means something, but it's confusing to say the least. Sounds like all 64 GB aluminum might be still sitting in preordered. I have a delivery date of November 5-6.

Where do you see this "Dispatched from warehouse by 1 Nov" or "Leaves warehouse in 2-3 weeks"? I don't see this in my order details page.

I pre-ordered 2x 64GB Graphite Nexus 6Ps on the 1st day. It's still in pre-ordered status and shows Nov 10-12 window.

My status has changed again overnight.
Now, instead of "Leaves warehouse in 2-3 weeks", it now reads:
"Dispatched from warehouse by 1 November."
Which kinda fits in with my initial delivery estimate of November 3-5

Still, if they want to ship it any sooner, that'd be fine by me

Go to play.google.com in a browser (don't use the app).
Click on the gear in the top right of the screen, and click on Account Settings (ensure you're signed in)
Should be in the list of your recent orders :)

the average person will 100% notice 720P on a screen over 5"

it doesn't look like crap, but you can def see a difference in sharpness on something like a webpage.

I believe he was saying you can't really tell the difference between 1080p and qHD... at least when both are high quality panels and only 5 - 5.5" in size.... and then said he would take 720p for the added battery life... I know I've always said I'd rather just have a really good 1080p panel vs qHD for the battery life...

Me thinks “pending” means backordered I.e. Google has less stock than they anticipated and they are going to delay deliveries. I hope I am wrong though!

So you're saying that all the people who changed from preordered to pending should start to worry because it means their phones are going to take longer? I don't by that for a second. Mostly because it seems that people who ordered on launch day were the first to go pending. But also because when I ordered an extra charger on the 11th or 12 it started at pending and quickly moved to shipped.

It can't mean back order. Wouldn't make sense... But then again I've seen people who ordered after me (Same color and configuration) go to Pending days before I finally went to pending. There just doesn't seem to be much logic to why it switches from pre-order to pending....

Mine still shows the same est delivery of Nov 5-9, but that ADOPTED case went from late October to Nov 2-4. It would be smart of google to box those together so I wouldn't be surprised if those dates merged at some point.

With that said, I'm already a bit nervous. Early reviews point to "just ok" battery life and only fast charging with the included USB-C (as we suspected).

I feel as though I'm the only one still in a "pre-ordered" status even though I ordered before a ton of people who've already had their orders switch to pending :( I ordered a 64 gb aluminium and a 32 gb graphite on 10/1, and still just sitting in pre-ordered status.....and I have a delivery date range of Nov. 10-12, once again a lot later than many it seems from the reading I've been doing through this thread. I can't help but wonder if the color/size combinations affected my delivery dates, since I'm assuming they'll ship together...oh well, I guess it beats not being able to order some variants at all now.

Aluminum, 64 GB. Ordered the same day as the announcement
November 10 – 12 Expected delivery
Status is Preordered.
I'm in New England.

I'd put zero stock in any 'first 48 hour' review. All phones suffer the worst battery life during those first few days as people install apps, and use it far more than they normally would. All Google phones also have a settling in period where they are sync'ing more with Play Services for those first few days.

Glad I'm not the only one with the Nov. 10-12 who ordered (fairly) quickly after announcement. I wonder if the 64gb aluminium is just a little slower for some reason...

Side note - I can't post links yet, but I read an ars technica review on the 5x/6p this morning and it definitely seemed very favorable. The fingerprint scanner looks absolutely amazing! Still very excited for this device!

I believe that I had an earlier estimated delivery date before I canceled my first order. My new estimated delivery is November 5-9. I wish I never cancelled it because it sucks to even wait a day more.

The tech crunch review someone posted above said the battery lasted all day without the need to charge. I wouldn't call that "just OK" - especially considering the screen size and density. He also stated he felt no heat during normal use which allays that fear somewhat.

I ordered mine minutes after the site went live. 64GB Aluminum. My order says Pending with a date of Oct 27-28
