Huawei because they offered the financing. I pester them on a daily basis but they refuse to give me any update. Already bought a screen protector, seidio case and spare USC-C cable. The wait is killing me!

Which Seidio case did you get for the 6P? I didn't think they were available yet.

That really sucks! I am trying to be as patient as possible! I am upgrading from a Nexus 5....unfortunately I dropped my phone on 11/30 and the screen is busted. I am now phoneless! All i can do is wait and dream about my new shiny NEXUS 6P 64gb. I would order from google if there was a way to finance or order using PAYPAL...

I initially went that route too for the same reason, but after a whole lotta BS from Huawei I cancelled and bought thru Google....but the financing company that Huawei uses, Affirm, has an option where you can link your bank account and they'll finance purchases even if it's not from one of their partner companies. You gotta layout the cash for a couple days, but once it goes thru they deposit the full amount back into your bank account and you make payments like normal.

Arghhhh FedEx is the pits.
Received my shipping notice on the 29th and started tracking my package. All tracking stopped on the 30th showing arrived at FedEx location Bloomington CA. The tracking page showed "Delivery by 12-3 end of day". I had filled out a "Request Notifications" but never received any. Since the Tracking web page has not been updated, I called the 1-800 number and entered my tracking number. The automated voice told me the package would be delivered today and I decided to stay home to receive it. Around Noon I checked the tracking status, no change, still showing in Bloomington CA (I'm on the East Coast) so I went on line and used the FedEx chat to see if I could get an update on the status. The chat assistant told me it was scheduled to be delivered tomorrow...... WTH????
FedEx guy just showed up.... all he had was the spare USB cable I ordered. grrrrrrrrr
Did I mention that FedEx is the pits? I swear, USPS Priority Mail has better tracking than FedEx, by far, and that's a pretty sad statement.

Sorry, just had to vent.

Ahhh well, looks like another day will be spent waiting for delivery. :'(
 
ordered oct 25 when i ordered they estimated late nov. canceled tuesday cuz who knows how much longer they would take. ordered from google same day dec 1 and it'll be here tomorrow the 4th. free shipping option. shame on huawei. and they never offered me a crappy speaker!

While I agree that FedEx has their fair share of problems, I don't think they're entirely to blame on this one. As you're on the East Coast I doubt you realize this, but Bloomington is pretty much right next to San Bernardino which, well had a really rough day yesterday.
 
I'm liking this idea! how many days till affrim refunded the google purchase?

It's about a week....once the charge goes thru on your bank account, you log into you Affirm account and select the purchase and once approved they say 4-7 biz days. I bought on 11/23 and it was in my account on 12/2 but there was also the Thanksgiving holiday in between so may have gotten there sooner on a normal week.
 
My order says by end of day 12/3, but the last tracking update was it departing a FedEx location at 6:05 am (Doesn't the update usually say "On truck for delivery" or something like that if it's going to arrive?) on the other side of town. It's currently about twelve hours later, but I'm not sure what FedEx considers the end of the day (maybe 8pm?). The FedEx chat thing hasn't worked for me.

excellent point and more than understandable. I just ordered a 32GB graphite for my best friend. He recently lost his job, right after his 3rd kid was born and sold his MacBook and phone just to buy Christmas gifts. His wife works and he'll get unemployment, but he's a huge tech guy and was super jealous of my 6p the other day. anyway, just ordered it from Google w NP and microfiber carbon case, expected delivery to PA Dec 9-11 .... Can't wait to see his reaction, glad I'm fortunate enough to help out a good friend (albeit with a credit card this time!).

I can do you one better with USPS...I ordered a package once that shipped out of California with priority 2 day delivery. 3 days later, the package arrived in Hawaii. The problem? I live in Texas. Contacting USPS was worthless cause they just said they couldn't do anything about it. Took another 6 days to finally get delivered.
 
I received my shipping notice from Google after reordering yesterday. My previous order with Huawei was stuck on processing for a month before I gave up. Of course, as soon as I ordered from Google, Huawei started regurgitating shipping notices left and right. Oh well. I just pray I don't have to RMA for any reason, even though I bought into Nexus Protect. I also hope my device isn't refurbished. What are the chances of that yet?

Ordered a 64GB Aluminum from Google the morning of 12/2 using the free shipping. Got my "Shipped" email that afternoon. It's 12/4, and my FedEx tracking is still stuck at "Label Created" in Mira Loma, CA.

Something tells me it'll be awhile before mine makes it to me in Michigan. At least Amazon will have my tempered glass screen protector and USB-C adaptors to me today....
 
Well I went thru the huawaei issue and then ordered from Google, aluminum 128gb which i received after a week or so.

I had it for 24 hours and after realizing that the usb C adapter cable caused some charging devices like my alarm clock to error out, I returned it. Too much hassles transferring data, sim cards - nano to micro for switching phones, and i just missed the big screen on my sony z ultra - so i just installed nova launcher instead to update my old phone. The Nexus 6 was a good looking phone though even if colors were a little over saturated for me, and it was faaaaast.

In any event, my point is they must be doing something with those returns - mine was as new and boxed as original when returned.
 
UPDATE ON MY ORDER!

I originally ordered from Huawei a 64GB Graphite for $592 on 11/06. Still in processing.

I checked out Swappa.com and I ordered a 128GB N6P FROST for $625. Paid using PayPal Credit and I will receive the phone on Tuesday.

I cancled huawei! I FEEL LIKE A FREE MAN AGAIN!

My order has been "processing" since early Tuesday on google. Anyone else have similar experience? Expected Delivery date is Dec 4th-8th.

There are 0 chances of receiving a refurbished item ... that would be illegal unless otherwise disclosed. Smart move going through Google and grabbing Nexus Protect. If something goes wrong I'd prefer working with Google to Huawei.
