AC Question

Just looking to get some opinions ..my phone plan is soon to be up ...Ive had the Nexus 6 for 2 years and it's been a good phone for the time being ..But I believe its time to move on and I am looking for something smaller ( would prefer to stay with a stock android device aswell) not really looking to blow so much on a pixel..any suggestions or opinions? thanks!

I've owned both... As a total package, the 5X isn't really an upgrade. Granted, the camera is significantly improved on the 5X, but the two are in totally different classes. If you start bouncing around through several apps, the fact that the 6 has an extra gig of RAM starts to show itself... you'll get fewer app reloads on the 6. If you watch video, the 6 is still really one of the best phones out there.., you got a big ol' screen with those two, loud stereo speakers blaring at you.

Oh, don't get me wrong... I like that 5X.. it's a great little size, easy to live with, runs well, etc... but it's a phone that wasn't meant to replace the 6... that's what the 6P was for.

If looking to go to a smaller screen, it's a good option. I used a 5X (for sale in the marketplace now, btw :) ) and liked it a lot. Using a Pixel now.

However, from the time I had that 5X, people always seemed to love the 6, so I certainly wouldn't call it an upgrade.

Yeah definitely a sidegrade (other than the camera and fp sensor).

A 6p is definitely an upgrade and is also smaller (though maybe not as small as you were hoping with the 5x). You can probably pick a used one up for a decent price these days.
