I've sold my S8! What's the best deal I can get on an honor 8?

That would be nice if we could though. I love this Nexus 6p. In fact up until about 6 months ago I thought the 6p ran a 820 processor just bc it's so smooth and fast. Now of course I know it's a 810 but to have a 810 in it and for it to run as smooth and fast as it does is quite remarkable.

The $150 6P you got was legit ?

I have both the Honor 8 and a recently purchased 6P. There's no doubt that the H8 is fast. But I just switched back to it this morning after several days with the 6P. I have to agree with DCon...I think the 6P may be faster, definitely smoother. I couldn't believe how slow my H8 felt in comparison. Maybe it was just "smoother" (which it was), but it felt faster too. I'm on it right now. Lightening!
I have to agree with you there. I've owned both of these phones twice now and the 6p is definitely smoother but you have to remember that it's pure stock Android and has no skin on it to weigh it down or make it lag any. It's lightning quick bc of that too. I'm not saying the honor 8 isn't fast but it just does not seem to be as fast as the 6p is. On paper it could be different but real world is another story.

Yes indeed very legit. It's a 110 percent authentic brand new Nexus 6p never used or even turned on for that matter. It was still in the box with the protective plastic on it and yeah I paid $150 for it. I know it sounds hard to believe but it's true. I'm still in shock over it too. I actually was able to get the poster on here a similar deal on his 6p too although his was not brand new. We both got smoking deals and this guy had three nexus 6ps. His last one was only a 32g in gold. My other buddy on here got it for $134. He loves his too. He was the one that showed me how to kill apps running in the background to give me better battery life. The only thing I did was I ask the seller ship the phone to me overnight which cost $30 dollars so I sent him $180 overall. He even let me pay him by money order after he shipped me the phone. Hands down the best deal I've ever gotten on any phone in my life. I could not believe it when he offered it to me at that price. I jumped on it immediately. Just a super nice generous guy which I have lots of respect for. It's definitely legit bc I called google to see if it was still under warranty and I had them change the ownership of the phone to my name instead of his after I gave them the IMEI number which was how they looked it up. He bought them directly from Google. So he sold all three of his nexus 6ps one new one to me and two used ones one a 64g and the other 32g to two of my forum buddies. Mine is a 64g also. I could have easily turned around and sold mine new for $425 but I couldn't have done that to that guy plus I actually love the phone and wanted to keep it. I'm on it right now as a matter of fact.

Honestly, if i were you, since you could have sold the 6p for $425 as you said, then I would have sold it and then bought the Honor 8, keeping the significant price difference as savings, because you prevoiusly mentioned that you had financial issues, and that even $8 could be significant and could sway you one way or another on a phone due to your financial situation. If I were your friend and you explained your financial hardship, then I would not have a problem with you selling the 6p for $425, since I have no problem helping out those in need.

Congrats Dconn! I know you've been looking for the 6p for awhile. It's the phone that got away and it's finally back! And for a great price to boot.

Has anyone else seen the article on the honor 7x to be released? It will have a Kirin 659 chip and come with 3 or 4g of ram. Now this phone I'd actually consider over another honor 8 to change it up a bit. No word whether the US will ever see it or not. Expect launch date I think I recall reading October 11th.

Yeah I've seen a few of the articles about the October 11th premiere with a few variations in specs. Not sure if it gets a Kirin 659 chip or 670. Either way, this phone may be a beast in the mid-range catagory. If it has a bezel-less screen, 2day battery life at a good price I may have to jump on it.

i don't think it will have a bezel-less screen, at least not around the price of the 6x.

Well I really didn't want to sell it being that it's a phone I've been after and at this price. I had to jump on it. No I could not have done that to that guy who was so generous to me and then to come across greedy. No way. I love the phone. I'll pick up a honor 8 next month probably.

Ok but then after getting the honor 8(or whatever new toy you get) , what are you going to do with the 6p,given that your finances doesn't allow you to keep both, meaning that you gotta sell your 6p very soon anyway.

Unless you are planning to keep the 6p for a long time, but I am afraid that that would strain your finances too much.

No I'm fine bc I bought the Nexus 6p for only $150 and my phone budget for a second device was $225. So that put me in great shape. My current set up right now is a smaller phone axon 7 mini and my larger phone Nexus 6p so I'm not sure I follow about my finances. I got a killer deal on the Nexus 6p which my budget allowed for $225 and I paid only $150. I'm in good shape.

Oh that's good. I am glad to hear that. I thought that based on my understanding of the original post in this thread that you only had $265 for your entire phone budget

They released the Nova 2i in India for $275usd. If they can do that, then they can released another near bezel less screen for $25 cheaper

Oh no I'm sorry I must have posted that to read misleading. I always try to keep two devices one smaller and one larger. I was in the market for a larger phone which I had a budget on. I got such a good deal on the brand new Nexus 6p that I didn't even spend my entire budget. That guy was super generous and nice. He also sold two other Nexus 6ps to a couple of my forum buddies but theirs was used but thru got similar deals. I just could not believe a brand new never used or even turned on still in the plastic protector Nexus 6p 64g for only $150!!! I'm still in shock over the deal. A part of me wants to sell it because I found another phone that I've been wanting that has gone on sale now but I'd feel badly if I sold it higher than what he sold it to me for. So I don't know what I'll do about that yet. I may just keep it as I love the phone but to me the ultimate perfect size phone is 5 inches exactly. I can get a really good deal on a Sony Xperia X Performance right now which that phone is indeed 5 inches which again is the perfect size to me personally for a phone. If I sold the Nexus 6p for what it's truly worth than I could get the Sony but a part of me would feel bad selling it higher than what I paid for it. I'll have to ponder on it. Right now my set up is the Axon 7 Mini which has a 5.2 inch display as my daily driver and now my Nexus 6p with a 5.7 inch display as my second device for media which the 6p has dual front facing stereo speakers which is great for movies, music and streaming stuff. Just like tonight I watched the Pats and Bucs play football on my Nexus 6p streaming from my Amazon prime account which I didn't even realize I could stream live cable from until tonight when I was on Amazon video and saw it live. Pretty cool. I know now so I will be streaming some NFL games moving forward with the Nexus 6p. The 5.7 inch screen is huge so it was easy to watch the game on with. That would be the downfall to the Sony Xperia but I've been wanting that phone for a long while now so I need to figure out what I'll do if I sell the Nexus 6p now.

Ah ok, thanks for clarifying. What you posted before was a bit confusing. Glad to see that you have a good heart and that you will keep it for a long time (and not sell or otherwise get rid of it) to show your gratitude to your friend for being so nice and selling the 6p to you at such a great price.

Also I am very proud of you for being able to sacrifice and not use the 6p to get a Sony, even though that is what you really want, again to show gratitude to your friend.

Thank you. I placed a post in the market place for a want to trade only as I'm not interested in selling it right now. If I don't get a bite on one for trade then no I just can't sell it right now and make more than double what I paid for it and feel okay about that. That would be like a slap in his face is what I think. So that's why I posted it only for trade and not to sell. Plus if I don't get the Sony I still love the Nexus 6p as it's always been one of all time favorite devices I've ever used.
