Your zip file is 215MB? Mine (OTA for the 6) was almost 2GB.

I had sideloaded December. Dunno. The OTA file I got from https://developers.google.com/android/ota#oriole is 1.9GB.

Nothing seems broken. I'll have to see if things are improved. Fingers crossed. I want to love this phone.

Sideloading simply means using a PC to load an image. It can be either a full OS image or an OTA file.

Right but I believe when the phone "updates" it is only grabbing files that were changed between months where downloading the OTA image from google is the full OS image not just changed files.

Again could be wrong on this but that is my understanding on how it works

Yes have downloaded OTA, it's still installing, has been for the last 20 mins and the bar is only 1/3 complete.
