Jelly bean, you broke my browser! I have found several glitches in this os and I am extremely pissed this update was force down my throat...if I wanted updates like that...I would have gone to an iPhone years ago. What happened to us having the option to choose. I want my ICS back...yes one icon on the native weather app installed didn't work, but now that it does...IT'S A WORTHLESS FUNCTION. As I mentioned before my browser is broken [(forced to use chrome now)return/back function takes me to home page when I'm 10 pages deep in a search], all of my custom user settings were wiped to default, gotcha app GPS is not near as accurate, kinda like the keyboard down button, but really...? After using using my phone for 5 minutes out of box I figured that one out. There is more to say, but one of my favorite TV shows is on.

Cheers y'all

"After using using my phone for 5 minutes out of box" and "Jelly bean, you broke" like you have used ICS!!

i smell troll.

Just opened an online game and after saving score locally my screen went blank. WTH! ICS was so reliable and now onto JB, seems like we are beta testing again. Could someone point me in the right direction to reload stock ICS. I have rooted in the past, but I have had issues with one version working great on most functions then not on all that I need.

Thanks for help in advance.

JB is way better than ICS was...

The only thing I am getting from this post is that you don't like Chrome... If that is the case, don't use it.

Chrome isn't JB.

No. JB has many flaws on this initial release. ICS would take me to the top of my recent calls and favorites if it were closed out, always on top, most recent. JB is holding my place after being closed, what is the point of having a recent calls tab if you have to scroll back up to the top after you find and make the call to a contact from 3 weeks ago? As far as my favorites go...duh, same thing. ICS always on top, those are the people I talk to the most. Why is that feature gone in JB? As far as chrome..its not bad, love it. I use it on all of my PCs. I do not feel chrome is intuitive in a phone application yet.
I'm sure I'll find more issues with the release as I use more apps once I've been on sites that require them.

That's not a flaw...its designed that way... its called multitasking. It allows you to close out of an app and then go back into it without losing your place.

Try this out:
Scroll down your call list to the middle and then back out of it to the home screen. When you go back in, and you should be still in the middle because that's where you left off.

Now do the same thing, but after backing out to the home screen, open up your recently used apps and swipe away the phone app. Now when you open up your call list you will be back at the top.

Thanks. That helps me understand how JB works. I am still having issues with many other apps, maybe the third party developers have not caught up?

Apps not working after an OS update are generally caused by the dev not updating the app to be compatible with that OS.

So while switching to JB may have caused issues with apps, the problem needs to be addressed by the developer of the app.
