btw, after the initial installation reboot, i rebooted again (just because i always do after updates) and there was a screen saying 'Android is completing update.'

Did that zip file work for you? I got it over at xda and tried it and kept aborting on me....same for several other people on the thread

Because you can't flash it using the stock recovery... You need to unlock your bootloader and boot into a custom recovery like CWM/TWRP and then use that to flash/install it.

Orange County, CA - Got the OTA about 3 hours ago (stock android) just by clicking check now once. Was lagging pretty bad at first and froze. Pulled the battery out and so far so good. Hope this doesn't do any more harm to the battery life then it did with ICS.

Yeah I stopped the Google Service Framework and cleared the data, after the 6th or 7th time update popped up. :) Anyone need any files pulled let me know.

Got some Jelly Bean love here this morning. Pandora seems to have gone AWOL, but everything else seems to be intact so far.

After about the 12th time of clearing the Framework, I received the update here in Oregon. As it seems a normal thing when updating to a new Android OS level, it took 3 or 4 reboots before everything was working flawlessly with no errors or choppy behavior.

I tried to install jellybean via fastboot and it isnt working for me (the commands that I put in are not recognized). I checked if the ota was pushed to my phone and it isn't (I have a custom recovery if that matters) so......I guess Im just gonna wait for someone to post a flashable zip for clockworkmod

this is why i'm just going to wait for the OTA...because I only really and truly understand about a quarter of that post. ^^

After doing the 1) Force stop. 2) Clear data. 3) Check update. (What did I have to lose) ...There it was downloading via wifi now.
