I like periods. And commas sometimes.
Back on topic though - not everyone wants to root. Not everyone likes to root. Not everyone knows how to root. And just because you root and install a custom ROM doesn't mean everything is going to work great anyway. Cameras don't work, BT stacks are out of whack, cameras work fine but not the flash. LTE won't work because of CDMA drivers, blah blah blah. These boards, as well as the ones over at XDA, are full of bug and glitch reports and all manner of horror stories. I'm not saying that custom ROMs are bad. They're not. Especially if you have some time and patience. They can be fantastic and plain fun to play around with. But if rooting and custom ROMs always solved everything and didn't come with their own issues, then everyone would do it, including the carriers.
Also, how did you get an OG EVO to run on AT&T?
