Jellybean messaging improvement?

Does anyone know if jellybean offers some updates to the stock messaging app? Namely, does it allow for better group messaging?

I am having the issue of group messages being sent out as individual threads and thus being replied to as individual threads. This is very annoying and convoluted. I would love to know if jelly Bean fixes this. Thanks.

yes, JB 4.2 has group messaging now. I am still on 4.1.2 and waiting for my nexus 4.

That is fantastic! Do you have a link to this information on the group messaging?
I was seriously thinking of returning my Gs3 for an iphone because of this messaging issue. If this fix is indeed on the way I would be extatic.

Also, can anyone using 4.2 jellybean corroborate this information? I feel like it might be too good to be true

it is absolutely true, and I "stumbled" onto the enhancement rather than confirmed it because I was expecting it. Which was surprising, and a very pleasant surprise at that.
