Shoot that would be great, but I think it's rooted. 8013's haven't received the update yet. I don't think?

No, not rooted, out of the box. But it sounds hit or miss with some getting JB & some ICS, depending on build date.

I've had the 8000 since launch, it's feeling slow and laggy. Can't wait for the update.

On a side note, I dislike how Samsung updates the devices, much prefer the PlayBook way of everyone getting an update at the same time.

I am still running 4.0.4 ICS. Still waiting for the 4.1 Jellybean to be pushed to my device. Australia needs to get with the times.

Still nothing for the UK version either, however Germany have got the update. Can't wait for Google now on my note 10.1 though

Another one has popped up. I imagine it won't be long before the guys at XDA have a file we can flash.

Justus you guys know, it's startin to look like it's DOA. a screenshot got posted of ONE device stats page. then another. people (like myself myself) started questioning it's authenticity, especially considering Samsung has hence pulled that info from their project page....

I just downloaded 4.1.1 'over air' this morning. I picked up the tablet (16GB WIFI Note 10.1) yesterday from Tesco Direct.

It gave me the 'try again' message for several attempts yesterday then worked this morning. Some sort of queuing system I guess.

I also recieved mine with 4.1.1. ordered from amazon on 12/29. 16gb gray version. Mine was fullfilled out of the Kentucky warehouse like the original poster on XDA.

Im not bragging, just verifiying that they are not lying about JB coming pre-installed.

Thsy do and it does not require rooting your device. I am using 4.1.2 on my 8013 nonrooted.
