Jerky Scrolling

Am i the only one that cannot get smooth scrolling when going through contacts or my phone log? I saw an incredible in operation and it is smooth as butter. ANy suggestions?

Why did you take it off? I'm not going back to 2.1 until someone here can prove that they got the official 2.2 update pushed to their DX.

It seems that something is working in the background when menus aren't smooth scrolling. Check Settings> applications> running apps. Touch and stop those that you aren't using or don't want active. If you restart the app, it will return to the "running" category.

On 2.1 my contacts would scroll badly depending on how many contacts have pictures. More pics, more stuttered scrolling.
On 2.2 (leaked) image loading on the contacts is less aggressive and scrolling is very smooth. Pics are sometimes delayed and sometimes the wrong pic will be on the wrong contact for a brief moment which can add confusion. Hope this is just a bug in the leaked version that is fixed in the OTA.

I get jerky scrolling in a few areas. Contacts can be jerky, so can the app drawer. There are other areas as well. It's not all the time and not really a big deal but I'd like to see it fixed in 2.2.

I too have experienced this. It didn't really happen before i had downloaded my applications, so i guess the phone is doing other stuff behind the scenes.
