jigsaw app crashing

Since an update in November my magic jigsaw 5000 has been acting up. It crashes when I attempt to buy a new pack, and when I attempt to restore paid downloads. It does take the money. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but that gave me the basic version and it won't restore paid downloads except once in perhaps 50 attempts when it suddenly does a successful download. I've cleared the cache, run various app cleaner programs, malware programs and anti virus programme but nothing helps. I have installed it on my son's nexus 7 and it works perfectly there so it's something in my device that's the problem.

Welcome to Android Central! It's always possible for an app to have compatibility problems with specific devices. Have you emailed the developer?

Thanks for replying. Yes, I did email Banda Games but the message kept being returned as undeliverable. I used both Outlook and Gmail. The odd thing is that the app worked perfectly well on the Nexus 10 until recently.
