Joined to share info on the new Essential PH-1 & general android info

Essential PH-1 to replace my verizon Galaxy S4. First plain unbranded crapware-absent phone I've ever had. Discovering there are some features the manufacturers and/or carriers had added to their contract phones which actually makes usability a little better, but the straight android feature lacks.
Right now I'm having trouble making new posts in the forum I get some kind of BS error (which apparently others are getting also).

We see this all the time. Bare bones Android isn't really that great.
