jst got a new phone but the screen closes too quickly how do I get more time

I am quite happy with my new phone and the guy at carphone warehouse was marvellous but my screen keeps going off how do I get longer time I am not as quick as I used to be - apart from that I love my new phone

Should be - Settings\Display\Screen Timeout (at least on MM)

Go to Settings > Display > Screen time-out and set the value to something higher than 30 seconds.
