JT Super Clean Rom available on Rom Manager

Download the Rom Manager App from the Market, you can download All of JT's Roms, kernels, and associated tweaks from there.

I think most of this might have been mentioned in this thread already so this might be obvious. Just in case it is not ...

Just be aware that you have to load CWR in Odin first ... not just install the app. Then be aware that JT has DI01 and DJ05 roms in Rom Manager. Please know what you have and then choose wisely. If you don't know about DJ05, then you have DI01.

Kernels can be found in Son of Skywalkers sections and Geeknik's as well. Sjust load the appropriate kernel for DI01 or DJ05.

SMS Problem in DJ05

Love the Rom have had it installed since yesterday but realized this morning I am having an SMS Issue. When an SMS is sent from my phone it is delivered blank on the receiving end. When a message is sent to my phone it never arrives.

Any ideas on the issue or how to fix it?

Lots of threads about this over on XDA.

The SMS issue spawns from you not having the proper DJ05 Modem flashed to your phone via Odin. Just look up DJ05 Modem at XDA and they give you a step by step on installing the Modem.

Changing Kernels

I have a stupidfast kernel now but I'm not a fan of the battery life and I wanna go to the stock one, do I have to do anything like disabling the stupidfast kernel, or can I just flash the stock DJ05 kernel?

Thanks!

You can always go back to stock, but from my personal experience the Stupid Fast kernels give me excellent battery life.

You really think that just because someone takes the time to package a rom that they have the best of intentions at heart? I found JTs github and read about his work on xda, so I have some tenuous trust in him. If you guys really are just jumping in feet first and eyes closed, god help you when someone less than honorable comes along for an easy score.
This is quite interesting to find in this post... You are on a forum talking about customizing the Android platform (or your phone if you wish) and debating the merits about doing so for security and safety reasons? If you have personal and private information on your phone that you feel isn't secure then ask yourself the $25000 question... Should it be on there? If you don't trust these people here or elsewhere then don't follow their directions and move on. Simple fix to your concerns.

But in a day and age when we have cell phone cameras everywhere, pat downs by TSA wanting to grab your package in an airport, and Washington DC's Bureau of Parking & Traffic Enforcement (WHO?) can send you a ticket in the mail for speeding as recorded by a camera... a camera... (this happened to my boss folks, he was in a rental car too) Do you really have any privacy concerns that relate to your phone? It's a big mobile transmitter that gov't can track you with freely once it's turned on. Furthermore... Do you have any reasonable right to exect anyone here to care if you have concerns about this? Is that some invisible constitutional right I'm not aware of?

Just don't do any rooting or ROM flashing. Your privacy (ahem) and personal data are well protected.

P.S.- Sorry for the rant folks. It's a hot button for me when people see ill will in the free offerings from others. I'm off my soapbox now. ;)
