Juice Defender and Blockbuster Help

Good morning as well, a bit late though.

Not sure what link will contain info, but it kinda manages your data without affecting it. So for example I have it set on default and it manages wi-fi but it's not even affected at all.''

Get JUICE DEFENDER BETA. That's the working one, not the Juice Defender Battery, in the market it has info on it

Download spare parts and in the first drop down change it to partial wake usage.
Look at these programs. They're the ones that are running when your screen is off and keeping your phone from really sleeping.

Please thank Forgetful see below

I just have a quick question about juice defender. Is it totally turning off my data so I don't receive my emails or gtalk messages until I unlock my screen? Whenever I turn on my phone the juice defender icon has that red dot in it which according to them is that my data is turned off?

Not sure, I would wiat for someone to answer that.

It says radio for the red dot, but I am connecting to 4g just fine and speed are fast.

I still receive emails and sms.

To avoid making another post do any of you guys know how to fix the lag when you first unlock the phone?

Good info here peeps. Can anyone tell me how to get to this screen on Juice Defender?

When you open up JD it should be one screen swipe to the left. It may not display the "battery saving" bar if you haven't had it on for long.

Unfortunately the lag is not really fixable if you're running Juice Defender. JD enables the radios when you unlock the screen and this causes lag.

Does the TB have to be rooted for the Juice Defender Beta to work?

Nope. It works fine on a UNrooted phone.

This is how JD works, it turns off your data when the screen is off/locked. If you have a pull email account then you probably will not get messages. If you have a push email account you will get messages when JD enables data in the intervals you selected (I believe you must select advanced settings if you want to control the intervals).
Same thing for any apps, if they operate on a push system then you'll get them when JD enables data, but if they're pull you wont get them unless your screen is unlocked.

Ahhh yes, it says "Battery life stats are not available yet - come back later!"

Thanks Forgetful, your willingness to offer everyone assistance is greatly appreciated.

Nope putting fast boot did not help.

I am talking about when I lock and unlock it goes slow for 1-3 secs

Open it up, go to "battery history", make sure it's always set to "since last unplugged".
Look at other usage- chances are it will be mostly "Running" taking battery. Display should about second. Click "Running", "time spent without sleeping" should have a percentage, mine is 10% 1 hour 13 minutes for example. My phone has been unplugged for 12 hours so this makes sense.
Basically here you want to make sure your phone is going to sleep. your number should be 2-15% I imagine if you turned it on and didn't mess with it.

Now look at partial wake usage. If something is keeping the phone from sleeping it will have a huge usage bar. There shouldn't be much activity here unless you have something going on like Pandora, etc...
hi, used spare parts and checked the stats. running is at 31.8%, screen on 17.4%. i cant seem to find what is causing this. any help would be greatly appreciated.

After clicking Running - What's your time spent without sleeping in hours?

Look at homescreen / Menu/settings / about phone / battery / battery use, what are the percentages displayed there? What is the unplugged time?

In Spare Parts, what does it say under Partial Wake usage? There shouldn't be anything noticeably larger than the others.

Under Accounts and Sync, what all do you have syncing? And at what intervals?

Hmm Today had it idle in my pocket in school the whole day in silent, since 7:00 A.M. At 12:35 pm that battery was at 35 idle. I'm assuming I unlocked it and did something in there + leaving screen on . I let it go to 0 charging back now.

Going to get the 1600 just incase
