So the X is my first Android phone. I just want to know if this update means im going to lose all my settings and apps and then have to redo everything?

Absolutely not. This is the same update I got last week. Took about 5 minutes, and none of your settings is touched. (And just FYI: That July 19 date is unofficial, and rollouts usually happen over time, so stay tuned.)

Hey Phil ole buddy ole Pal,

Did that update you got that were getting soon do anything to fix the WiFi issues most of us are experiencing? Did it increase the phones performance at all? Any battery life love? These are my main concerns with my X right now that Im having major issues with.

What's funny is im not having any problems with wifi or battery life. However, as of today, i've gotten 2 random reboots. Hopefully this problem doesn't persist.

The DX seems to be pretty solid. I like the fact i have no lag( had th Eris which was all LAG)

From what I've heard its just minor fixes to little things, you aren't going to see huge performance changes until 2.2 comes out
