Jump in the S3, few quesitons!

Ok, I got my S3, so far so good, a few questions, 1. Why are there addition photo's with a funny icon in the picture little rainbow deal, there are old pictures in there, I don't want, how do I get rid of them? Second, seems my phone added all my contacts to the phone listing, making a google contact and phone contact, any ways to get rid of those too?

Those are Picasa pics.. It automatically gets set up when you sign in to Google Plus.. I believe.

Go to Settings.. Accounts & Sync.. Gmail account.. and turn off the sync for Sync Picasa Web Albums.
Also sign into your Picasa account from a desktop browser and you can remove the photos.

It's the same password for logging in as your Gmail account.

For the contacts.. Go to the Phone app.. Contacts.. Menu.. Scroll down to Contacts to display. There's also other options under the menu for merging, etc..

I removed them, but they deleted from my G+ account, not sure why there is no way to not have them show up in there? As far as the contacts, not sure why the phone made one list for my gmail and the other for the phone, annoying as hell lol

Toggle on and off the sync option for Picasa pics under settings.. accounts and sync.
