Well ... fixed the Magisk problem (just ripped it out and started from scratch), no wifi problems, no slowdown, no lag, no fps problems (I usually can't get my finger all the way seated before the screen is on). AOD on or off. Pixel 2. So "not a major update and no problems". (Not OTA either.)

DP3 is out, going to jump on that because something is up with the stable release for me. Phone app crashed today while in a call. That was weird btw. Call was still there but I had to re-open the app. I've done two factory resets and still having issues so might as well jump on DP3.

When I say no difference I mean I don't have lag

Yes it wasn't the fastest sensor in the world, but right now for me it is the slowest. If you go to issuetracker.google.com/109710373 there are over 100 reports of the 2xl having this issue.
