June Software Update

is this the one you got? They had been mentioning specific improvements in certain areas on various Android sites, such as camera improvement and stuff like that. But this one just says performance enhancement and is ambiguous about what those are. Are these camera updates part of this?

Yea, that is the one I got. Am I completely going crazy or did I read somewhere on the interwebs that there is already a second June update rolling out? Or am I just confusing that with May? If there is a second June update maybe that's the one with the camera improvements and all that?

The Exynos users have reported two June updates, although the Snapdrog overseas users have reported a file size the same size as the two Exynos updates were combined.

My battery life is no better with this latest update. The phone lost 20% of battery just sitting overnight unused :-\

Which phone, which carrier, and which update (AVEH? AVF1? Something else?)? What apps are listed as using the most battery charge? Do you get the same power consumption in Safe Mode?

Downloading too. Had to advance the date to tomorrow to get it. I'll reset time and date when it's done. Mine was over 1,715 mbs.

AT&T locked coming in now. 1.7GB...it is not small. My AT&T unlocked aren't seeing anythang yet.

Yup this is indeed the camera and performance improvement update they were talking about. Mentions specifically things about auto white balance and portrait mode, but it also says the overall camera performance is to be improved. And while it says there are performance enhancements throughout the phone, it doesn't specify what. And of course along with it came the monthly security patch.

Downloading now AT&T locked

Let us know if you notice anything new/subtle changes in update besides camera??

If I didn't own a N20U previously I wouldn't have noticed the subtle differences like the max volume on the S22U being noticeably weaker. But I am just curious while I am waiting for this update to push to Unlocked phones if maybe we could have gotten lucky and the update addressed something like that.

The more I am watching YouTube videos the more I am noticing the weaker volume when out and you need to turn it up and will admit am slightly disappointed it's weaker.

Oof lost 18% after the last update despite only 13 minutes of screen on time. Make it 19% now as it just dropped another percent while typing this.
