I have the G2 but it is just too large. My thumb on my right hand is messed up so texting with one hand is a pain in the *** on these larger phones. I was going to wait till the next version but i've been reading speculation that the next version will have a larger screen. I have been reading posts in the forum and everyone here seems to love their Moto X. I look forward to when it arrives in the mail.

Yes touche the Moto X is a wonderful fantastic stock vanilla Android KitKat phone you will love it welcome to the forums

I also like that it is assembled in the US. Always looking too help put people to work. I've worked for years as a mechanic in the trucking industry and Motorola quality has always been excellent in their radios and Nextel phones.

Agreed! I'm a Moto fan boy now. Made here is a big deal. I had a problem with my front facing camera and they sent me a code for a new one with no questions. Awesome customer service. I'm sold.

Hi all, been a long time iPhone user and recently found the delights of android first hand with a note 2. I've found it too big and after a lot of reading, I've also opted for a moto x which is in the post now!!

Only downside is here in the UK, can only get 16gb version, but does give 50gb of free Google drive space. Always been an on board storage guy so would love any advice you guys have on switching to the cloud. Also any advice you can offer a long term iPhone user whose a complete noob to android

I use Google Drive constantly. I use Box frequently and love it, and also have a Dropbox account. My G2 has 32 gig and I have about 6 gig free so when buying my Moto x I opted for the 32 gig since it was available here in the states.

What would people recommend I use to sync with iTunes on my mac? LG has pretty decent software that works well. I haven't looked into what Motorola offers.

I'd just upload all of it to Google Play Music.

Really nice phone. I changed from an iPhone 5, and this phone fit in nicely with my life. Not too big, works great, no lagging and pretty awesome accessibility features. It is almost stock, but I installed Nova Prime to set it up exactly as I like.

Just got my moto x on Tuesday and could not be happier. The screen size and overall footprint of the device is perfect. Not to mention how good it feels in hand. I hope they can keep up the same tradition with the X+1.

What do you think about the camera? I'm thinking about getting one (currently have HTC one m7) and I heard the camera wasn't too good.

I'm actually pretty impressed with it, maybe cos I'd read so much bad stuff that I was expecting it to be terrible. The worst bit is the shutter delay but image quality has been fine for me, will take some samples today and repost later
