just did august '15 update and reset

Got the latest ota update that helps with the stage fright and whatever. Also I do a factory reset at the same time afterwards. Just seems like a new phone as far as speed and performance. Plus gives me a chance to remove crappy apps to make room for more pictures and videos. I take thousands of photos and videos a year so my phone gets full fast. With all the note 5 buzz and LG g4 talk I really am still very pleased with my old note 3 and saving lots of money.

I am on the Verizon network but my carrier is Straight Talk.
I called and asked about getting the update and they said I would but I think they lie for convenience.
May have to go to Best Buy to see if they can flash this update!

I did go to Best Buy and had the Samsung Guy flash the
N900VVRUEOF1 update.
The phone seems to run a little nicer! I don't know about battery yet but the phone seems quicker!
I notice the radio and data signal are stronger. Apps that used to buffer come up immediately!

I don't notice my battery dropping off any faster but I just checked my battery stats and Android System is high on the list of users!!

Yeah as you I can't say I've notice battary dropping off but battery status shows Android System high....

If you modified your phone in any way....such as removed bloatware...the update MAY have problems and you'll have to factory reset it.
