Just for fun: iPhone users couldn't help me

how do flight crews on an airplane know if we have our phones on flight mode or not? (havent been on a plane in years lol)

They don't because a cell phone makes no difference whatsoever in regards to a plane and the ability to control it. It's all a legal pissing contest between the FAA and the FCC and we as consumers loose out due to 'security theater'.

Isn't there some kind of paint that blocks signals? But again i don't the school would pay extra for phone inhibiting paint lol

Our instructors had a rule, phone makes noise, you leave for the day and get no credit for the class for that day. After it happend to the first person, nobody forgot again.

+1

Kick them out of class. Mark the as absent with no credit. Trust me, after the 1st kick there will be no others. Kids will purposefully push your patience and your limits until they hit a brick wall. Hit them with a brick wall. LOL! :banghead:

I forgot to mention... I actually considered getting one of those illegal cell phone jamming devices and planting it in my classrooms. I know, I know... emergencies, blah blah. But it crossed my mind.

NFC tags would be awesome too!

Lol... law suits ready to happen. Haha

How about the old fashion way of high school.

Detention system... $20 to get it back or go to detention a couple hours and get it back after.

Put one of these in your classroom?
the jammer

Those are absolutely cool. But, I'm pretty sure I read a news article about some guy who was fined a considerable sum for using one of these. I am pretty sure they are illegal. But... I'll just keep this in mind.

In two weeks, I'll know how bad a problem it's going to be.

Man, that jammer is so cool.
