Sad, there isn't any shipping to my city (although there is one shipping close to it).

Where did you learn about that tracker?

Theres one in transit to my city, and its a pretty small hick town so i might be in luck if that thing is real...
Keep seeing it on twitter...and if its a small town, that's probably yours

Mine shows the two cities next to me...my town is super small so maybe it doesn't register and shows the big cities

You can't. In the agreement you signed to get one, there's a clause in there about selling it without the permission of google.

I signed no agreement to get one. I took a quiz a few weeks ago on their facebook page and yesterday this just showed up. I did not agree to any terms or conditions. In no way would I sell this but if I wanted to I very well could seeing as how I have no agreement with Google about it.

Yes, you can sell it (as well as the other people who didn't fill out the form to get it), but everyone who did fill out that form can't sell it (at least not while also following those terms).

I received mine today too. For those of you who are wondering how far away these have gone I live in a large Montana city (which is small for most of you). I didn't get any confirmation from Google, the UPS man just came to the door and dropped it off, I didn't have to sign, it came from Kentucky. I signed up for it during the live streaming press release they flashed a QR code up on the screen and I scanned it and it took me to a much shorter form to fill out than the more detailed one than the form on the Pilot Program Website. This shorter form just asked for my name address and email address.

Well on that tracker it says shipped 12/10 and delivered 12/10 and i still dont have it so... It said overnight... I'm boned.

I got mine on Thursday (and for those who are wondering, I'm on the West Coast). No call, no email, no notification of any sort. I signed up via a link that appeared on my Chrome New Tab page (Dev build...if that matters).

I'm thinking though that you may receive one even if you didn't sign up if you had previously signed up with Google as an official beta tester. I don't remember exactly how to do that, but I remember clicking a link in Google Docs asking if I wanted to test Google's products in the future...

As far as the notebook itself...honestly I'm a little underwhelmed. For all you that feel gipped, I would say you can get 97% the same experience if you go to your laptop/desktop, open Chrome, maximize the window...and do whatever.

Yes, the notebook itself is pretty sexy and while I definitely appreciate its portability, that really has nothing to do with the point of these notebooks. Chrome OS is very obviously beta. It is painfully slow at loading multiple tabs and nearly unusable when Flash is involved. Printing is a hassle since most printers out there don't support cloud print; I have to go to my main computer to actually print anything (or at least have it on and awake). Battery life is perhaps the best I've ever seen. 8 hours is conservative to say the least. Unfortunately, the processor is dismally underpowered and while it might do for testing units, god forbid any manufacturer attempts to put it in a consumer unit. Also, I want a delete button; I just do (none of that Alt-backspace crap.)

In terms of fixes though, I noticed that on day one, when I rested one finger resting on the trackpad (often unknowingly) and tried to use another to move the cursor, nothing would happen. I recently noticed, however, this seems to have changed in that now it does as Jerzyiroc mentioned with the page scrolling. I hope this means Google is REALLY on top of bug reports and fixes and will continue to improve the OS in a speedy manner.

Also, for anyone who has a Cr-48...or might know the answer to this...I noticed a slot underneath the battery that looks like it would be for some sort of SD card...but I have heard no mention of it anywhere, any ideas? Expandable storage? ...I don't really wanna go sticking things in there without knowing what it is=/

Thats a SIM card slot. =D
Works internationality if pop a different SIM in.

I think I may be getting mine too. I only see one package for my town, I hope to god its mine.

Well....a bunch of Google employees came to my university a few months back and gave a talk on chrome os (and a bit about a machine running it, but didn't show it as it was still under wraps at the moment), and they were saying that the thing had a switch under the battery that you could use to load an unsigned OS on there (even a more traditional linux distro), so it may be related to that?

Make sure you tell us if you get one, I'm still debating the credibility of the tracker. It looks pretty sketchy...
