Just got a CR-48

I got home yesterday to find a mystery package waiting for me. I really did want that sticker though LOL

2 of them are headed to my zip arriving on the 22nd.

So its all or nothing, i was hoping for something early though, maybe tomorrow? I mean... they were sent on the 15th

Tracking website just upped the delivery of all three CR-48s to my zipcode to TODAY. The anticipation is killing, anyone else see a change in Deliveries for their zip?

I got mine today!

I came home from the movies (someone else was home) and there was a package addressed to me. I had seen unboxing videos, so I had an idea of the general size. It was either my new CR-48 or a present, so either way, I was excited. Opened it and am using it now.

I loved the box.

I also received my at work. I was about to go into the building where I work and the ups man was like "i have something for you". I check the tracker and only one was shipped to my zipcode. I put my HP laptop away and have in using it since. I love it

Out of 3 destined to my zip, one was delivered today. Two others originally had 12/22 as date, but today mid afternoon were updated to 12/21. Now they read "N/A"....can only hope that Rain delayed it all & one is still......destined to my door stop tomorrow!

There was one sent to my zipcode I call ups gave them my address and was told no package for my physical address, now I know it was swnt to someone else and not to me.

Go ahead and tell them your address and find out. They might say they need a tracking # to find out so just insist and give them your address and have them heck that way. Good luck

I wonder if applying more than one time has eliminated me from the race to get one, i applied once on the regular page and then another time when chrome asked if i wanted to test one out.

Hopefully google isnt done shipping them. -sigh-

My guess, and hope, is that Google is only about 1/2 way done shipping and they will be shipping well in to January. Based on the tracker, less than 1/3 have been shipped out. I dont know if it is able to track them all, but I would say its a safe guesstimate. I'm holding out hope as well that applying more than once does not hurt your chances. I filled out the regular one as well as when chrome asked if I wanted to apply...heres to hoping.

Myself as well in san Diego. What a bummer...Im honestly starting to question if there will really be 60K of these sent out, who was the first to report this large number?

The link is accurate... I received mine the other day and I'm not on the west coast. I live in a small town and it showed up on the website before I got it.

All it does is scan the UPS database and looks for packages with the same dimensions and weight. That's why technically it's not always accurate, but for the most part it is! Good luck! It's great

Well guess what, my cousin got one. He lives in the sticks so he used my address. So now i have a Cr-48 unopened, and in my neighbors house because im out and about til thursday.

My cousin would never know...

Nah. I'll call him tomorrow. Hopefully i can hold out....

I'm pretty sure they are only sending one per address... I couldn't see why they would send multiple units to one address. If that were the case people would make up a bunch of names for one house.

I accidentally signed up twice also though and still received the chrome notebook.

Since I never got one in the mail *sigh* I got really desperate and found a few giveaways where people were giving away the Cr-48. Lost all of them though... damn, I thought I'd win atleast one and be able to check out this little machine

So they extended the deadline for applications and I haven't seen any real movement on the tracking website for almost 2 weeks. I'm not sure what the deal is. According to it, they have only shipped 7 in almost 2 weeks.

Also, on the application it says they will contact you if you are selected. Was that there before? Because I know everyone who says they have gotten one, that it was just a surprise in the mail one day.

Oh well, I just keep checking and hoping that I'll be getting one. Because I'm very close to purchasing a laptop and would rather have this, lol.

Ilove mine...but its not at the point to replace a full-featured laptop...

Just got my CR-48 today. It's weird because I had completely given up on the possibility of getting one. No instructions to contact Google about anything, which I find weird though.
