I just got a Nexus 4 and so far I love it. Looking for your best recommendations for a new user. My last phone was a Galaxy Note i717 and the Nexus is a lot better I believe.

If security apps are your thing, go grab Cerberus from the play store. It is free today, and today only.

buy a bumper. do not drop.

thats all i got

Or a case, due to the back glass... If going with a bumper, add a screen protector for the rear. Maybe look into the Rinke Fusion Case which mirrors the naked look of the phone.

Very cool to know.

buy a case, adjust your personal settings, buy an SD card for extra storage. that's all i got.

SD card to put where??? :p

Maybe look into franco.Kernel Updater. It is a great App and an excellent kernel. Unlock your phone now before you get too much setup done as unlocking will erase your data. Nexus Root Toolkit by WugFresh is a good thing to have on your computer...

Check out Nova Launcher to add a little functionality to the phone without changing the way it looks. Otherwise, just have fun. Grab some games, grab some productivity apps that match what you need your phone to do. Activate your Google Drive, and add other cloud services like Dropbox and Box if you want.

I just fondled a coworkers white Nexus 4 ;) In regular conversation the two apps that came up were Box.com for the 50gb free storage and Google+ for the photo Auto backups.

Thanks everyone, I currently have about 110 GB of cloud storage between different apps. I got the Nexus 4 bumper for free and got the Rearth case. So far I like the bumper the best.

I got mine as well! so much snappier than my thunderbolt. im excited to get started with google wallet. I just feel like the glass will crack when its in my front pocket and im putting my shoes on

I use the Rinke Fusion case, and it's great!! Also, I highly recommend Lookout (security app). Just my 2 cents! :). Congrats!!
