Just got an XS...

So i just purchased an iPhone XS 512GB version for a mere USD$1200.which is actually cheap when "official stores" here are selling it for USD$1760.And first thing i noticed was... Its not much of a difference compared to my last iPhone 7 Plus(yeah yeah it has the latest A99 Bionic Robotic Arm bla bla). And comparing it side by side with my S10P it made me wonder what the hell did i buy. There is almost nothing great about the XS which a lot of fanboys are proud about. Only thing i can be proud of my XS is the text replacement...

Other than the text replacement, and the "ease" of use. Its literally like an overpriced basic phone. Owh yeah and the ENDLESS UPDATES... And the Apple will always support their phones. Come on even i who have just finished setting it up already feel conned.

Well, ill update in a few days to see if anything else changes. And for those who use an S10 series and an IOS device feel free to drop your personal comparisons. Not from youtube or reddit or whatsoever...

After 3 days of using the XS.i can definitely say that the XS has better signal reception(using the same sim).

And the XS has crappy speakers...battery life so far is on par with my S10P...

*UPDATE*
After almost a week.and i could for sure say auto brightness is working way better on the XS.no more face blasting...battery life is amazing.better than my S10P.i get around 8 hours of SOT(maybe because its still new and there isnt any widgets)

And the things which i prefer more on the S10P is that,Galaxy Buds.yup the Galaxy Buds...Galaxy Buds costs USD$127 here whereas i got the Airpods 2 With Wireless Charging Case for USD$211.okay the Airpods are clear,but noise keeps entering my ear...unless i put max volume...and the gestures...

Other thing i missed was of course the bigger screen.and the ease of sending stuff over using bluetooth(yeah i know i can use apps on IOS to send via bluetooth too)

And of course the camera as well...

Been tempted to at least get an iPod with a touch screen. Just so I can at least get a feel for the GUI environment from Apple.

Would or wouldn't? I would probably sell an iPhone if they gave it to me. There are enough fanboys out there that would love to get one at a discount, but I would never use one, unless it was free and someone was paying my phone bill as well. Then I might consider it just for the 2.4k I'd save a year in phone bills.

I kind of loved my iPhone 6s even though it was basic. But then again I loved the Apple Watch attached to it. But after getting my Pixel 2XL I just found it boring. When it stopped working I bought a Huawei Watch 2 with built in sleep tracking and never looked back.

I am now on Android Q and loving Android even more. I fixed the 6s and gave it to my daughter. But I bought her a Pixel 2XL this April on offer and she has never looked back. She loves Android now as well.

I still have an iMac for Final Cut Pro and an iPad mini for media consumption but I am over iOS on a phone. My iPod touch is barely touched these days except to keep it charged up.

Likewise, dusted off the old iPhone XS 512 I kept in my drawer after purchasing the Note 9. Put my sim card in for 20 minutes, felt amazing at first, but went straight back to my Note 9. Ahh well, it's a good phone, I think once you've experience Android for what it truly is, it's hard to go back to IOS.

Same here - got a XS max and the S10 5G. Both excellent phones and I switch between them quite often. They're both great phones, both hardware- and software-wise.

Every brand has its followers, if I wanted to insult Apple people I would have said something like, I'm sure there's some lemming out there willing to buy something that was outdated and done by Android 2 to 8 years ago for a discount, but mine was not to offend or imply but to say that someone loyal to the brand surely would want a device at lower than retail. So no not every Apple user is a Fanboy...

Might be a case of marking up the MSRP to make the sale look too good to miss and get people to buy. Hahaha
