I haven't noticed any changes in the signal. At home I'm consistently sitting around 3 or 4 bars.

Maybe more to the point...are you having connection-related problems? Maybe the difference between 2 bars and 4 bars for a data connection isn't that important.

Several years ago as my employer was getting ready to buy us Blackberrys the vendor (VZW) rep told us that signal strength for data connections was less important than for voice connections. He said that voice requires much more bandwidth for call quality than a data connection.

True? I have no idea. It made intuitive sense, but it could have been BS, too.

Problems receiving exchange attachments when SSL is enabled

Has anyone had the problem when you connect to your corporate exchange server and check SSL that you can view your emails fine, but when you go to download an attachment it fails. I have solved the problem temporarily by turning off SSL, but I do not want to leave it this way. I am hoping this update address this problem....any ideas?

I haven't updated manually either and I'm still waiting for it as well.

There is supposedly a 48 hour period where no updates will be pushed out, so for those who haven't updated manually, you may have to wait until tomorrow or Friday before the push resumes.

Not trying to convince you to update manually but it is indeed the same file that is being pushed to devices. It is no different. Either way you go it's the same exact thing. So what are you waiting for???

I haven't updated manually either and I'm still waiting for it as well.

If i recall correctly, they were supposed to have another rollout of about 200,000 units per day now.. hopefully its throughout the day and wont have to wait another 24 agonizing hours.. lol...
Im fully capable of updating it manually... but just... feel better waiting for the OTA push...

Yeah, tonight at 12 was supposed to be round 2. It's been 48 hours since the first rolled out. I figured that 200,000 is a lot of units so I thought I had a pretty good chance of picking it up tonight. I hope it shows up by morning, I don't want to wait another 24 hours either. I'm the same way, I feel better waiting for it OTA even if it is the same thing.

Edit: I just got the notification for it, so check yours.

Just checked for updates, still nada... power cycled.. nada....maybe if I don't have it in the AM ill update manually... I'm not a fan of this rolling update business.. makes me feel like I'm the last kid picked in dodgeball in gym class... lol

I just got the update. I can't notice much yet except for the new lock screen, and the new Power Settings widget. The home screens are still choppy and I see no difference in the notification tab. Oh yeah, and Beautiful Widgets has stopped updating the weather.

Edit: Putting the widget in the trash, then re-adding it made the weather start to work again.

Ok...Edit #2: Took a restart and then a few minutes...looks like the animation is better on the homescreen and notifications tab. I should learn to wait a bit before posting I guess. LOL
