while that might seem logical, Im pretty sure more than 10k people bought Droids on Nov 6 so I don't see that being the case unless the only people who have been alerted so far got it day one in the morning.

I got mine at 7:30 am EST on opening day. Other than the people in NYC who got one at midnight, I had to be one of the first people to get one and no update for me yet.

No more micro-freezes from the home or notification.

In terms of other stuff im still messing around to see any changes.

droidsteve over at phandroid forums posted some info...He actually was nice enough to actually fill us in!

"Woke up this morning to my Droid Alarm, but there was an update screen covering my snooze buttom. Damn phone made me lose ten extra minutes of sleep this morning since I couldnt snooze the alarm. Overall you have all heard it before the new unlock screen is there. But what I notice most of all is screen transitions are much better than they were before. Opening apps seem to kind of have an animation now more like the Iphone, looks to me like a good polishing for the OS. If you have any questions just ask and I will check it for you. Hope you get yours soon!!"

Got my update early this morning. Nice upgrades. Didn't even take long to download the update. Took somewhere between 10-15 minutes.

i got my update this morning, just a thing to add to the os updates that ive noticed

they updated the picture frame widget, the frame background is now black and it is larger.

I was just about to edit my post to say this. I actually liked the white outline too. But I guess they made it black to match the phone. The bigger size is welcomed though.
