just got the 4.4.4 soak test

I was done with the soak basically 10 seconds in, lol. The minor stuff I mentioned in here, even if it's a bug, does not bother me one bit to say OMG FIX THIS! They fixed the home button bug that HAD been bugging me to death. That makes me happy.

There's a few bugs I've seen from others but nothing show stopping. It's possible they'll do a new 4.4.4 minor build like they've done for 4.4.2 on the HD recently to fix the issues that are found before L comes.

I never noticed a home button bug.

I never noticed a home button bug.

In the 4.4 update, if you launched an app from any other home screen other than the default screen, when you press home the phone acts as if you pressed the key twice - it went back to the home screen and then went back to the default. If you used a third party launcher like aviate, which toggles a panel on and off when you press home, it would toggle on and then off when you pressed home once. It is slightly annoying, and the major reason I switched to Nova launcher, because you could tell the launcher to not do anything when you pressed home (and an update a few weeks ago deliberately ignored the second press on the 2013 Droids.)

Is the share bug gone? Anybody tried the camera since the update? Improved or no?

Yes, share bug is finally fixed - you can finally choose which app to share again.

Camera seems the same in the default mode, but I think there's improvement in HDR. (Though I never thought the camera was that bad in the first place, so your milage may vary.)

Camera seems better to me. Especially the front facing one. A lot less noise in the front camera pictures.

They (Verizon and Motorola) must be getting ready to push out this update. I am getting that weird message I was getting before their last update

Yea, the soak ended last night. It's being pushed out as of today in the usual staggered (non-geographical!!) rollout. If you're waiting for the OTA it'll come in the next few days.

If you're unlocked, you'd just install custom recovery after flashing the FXZ with my rsd Flasher (using keep data) and then flash supersu zip to regain root. It's the locked users who would be screwed.
